Wow. Interesting source. He usually breaks news on European leagues. He also says Portland will not match what looks like a reasonable contract all things considered. That's some good inside info.

This would be a great gamble by Brooklyn. Young, with upset and although these salaries will always shock us, it's in line with the market, so he just has to be decent to be a tradable asset.

Damn, this kinda doesn't make sense. Our wing rotation would look really crowded, are we trading someone? I'll wait for more reporters to confirm this before fully believing.

We still need 2 more bigs, the backcourt and wings are solid now.

He is credible. Just never saw him break these sort of deals though. And it's intriguing how he knows the Blazers won't match - in my opinion, that makes little sense, because Crabbe's cap hold is very small. So they should do their work with the remaining cap space (i.e, sign Gasol) and then go over the cap and re-sign Crabbe.

NI claims the FO likes Johnson as a backup/sixth man.

Lopez/Hamilton
Booker/C-Mac
RHJ/Bojan
Crabbe/Kilpatrick/Lavert
Lin/Johnson/Whitehead

We are crowded on the perimeter. Someone needs to GO and we still need a starting PF.

As do I but we still have LeVert, Kilpatrick, Johnson competing for SG minutes, and that's without even considering Markel Brown who I'm assuming will be waived. The SF minutes will be split between RHJ and Bogdanovic. Now if Bogdanovic was traded and LeVert got the backup SF minutes, it would make sense.

if this is true, I like our roster make up a lot more.

we will need a 4 man that can hit 3s and defend. Having shooters at 2 and 4, Lopez the main scorer at 5, RHJ defends/slashes, Lin PnR and penetrate.

Seems like our PG/SG/SF spots are full and ready to rock.

Our big rotation outside of Lopez is a HUGE question mark though. I think Booker can help but more off the bench and CM is too raw still.

Maybe go after Lance Thomas as stretch 4 a la Patterson?
