Thank you Chicago Strong.

I just have this weird feeling Kevin Durant is going to Boston.

How can gsw be a viable option as long as bogut is on the books? They don't have enough $ until or if they could trade him. Why would any team try to help them?

A team that isn't an immediate contender wouldn't turn down Bogut just to spite the Warriors. They're more worried about their own team.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Because off loading a serviceable center at $11M is easy now that the every team in the league is playing with Monopoly money.

Just curious, but is the 100 page max thread a hard rule on the GB?

Lol, The Raps board often has GT's go for longer than that. I imagine a similar occurence on the NYK board as well.

That would be a dream come true haha, but I don't think so.
I think KD is going to stay in OKC or he is going to Golden State.

Golden State would be disaster and I would hate this move. Not because I am a GS-hater, but I think it would be much more interesting so see KD, Westbrook and Adams vs. Golden State and the Spurs next year.

Bogut is on a team friendly deal and teams will be lining up for his services. They have some young players that could sweeten a deal.

If it's between Boston and GS I kinda want him to go to GS, that offense would be otherworldly. People can rip on him all they want for stacking the deck and whatnot but I want to see the best basketball and that..that would be it.

Maybe but if I were KD, I'd really look at Boston if he wanted to leave OKC.

Not much to be worried because they wouldn't be winning when they have to go through a team comprised of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

I mean ****, why not spite the Warriors and turn down Bogut? Not like any team that acquires him is going to beat the Warriors should they get Durant. It was already hard enough to do it last year.

What is GSW willing to give up to get that deal done though? Surely Bogut by himself isnt enough to get him off their books. What remaining teams want to just take on an over-the-hill center that won't do much for their squad?

I can't imagine him going to Boston. Makes absolutely no basketball sense. Why leave westbrook to playing with freak Horford and Isiah? He is either staying in OKC or going to Golden State. 0% chance he goes to Boston IMO.

It would be sad but funny if someone like Iggy who went to the meeting and talked to Durant about how great it is to be in Oakland/San Fran gets shipped out in order to bring in KD.

11 mln. for a good center, even someone over the hill and injury prone, is a great bargain in the current market.

I've felt all along this is between OKC and GS. Still do as I don't see the rationale of leaving a team close to a championship unless it's for a better team. Surprised how many think he's going to Boston. I still see it as a huge longshot but if he does I'll eat crow and Lebron will finally have a rival in the east.

Meeks went with nothing attached to him and he hasn't played basketball in 2 years.

People overrate how much oher teams care, someone took Beasley when the big 3 was put together and someone would rather take Bogut than paying Festus Ezeli 80 million dollars.
