I think it's between Boston and OKC. Obviously he already told the Clips they were out of the running because they started making other moves. Boston hasn't used their max slot cap room, so he must of gave them a maybe.

At least 15 teams would take on Bogut. You guys are delusional if you think teams wouldn't want him with that salary, and impact when he is healthy. He is also not that old, just 31. It would be so easy to trade him for nothing.

What is GSW willing to give up to get that deal done though? Surely Bogut by himself isnt enough to get him off their books. What remaining teams want to just take on an over-the-hill center that won't do much for their squad?

It would be sad but funny if someone like Iggy who went to the meeting and talked to Durant about how great it is to be in Oakland/San Fran gets shipped out in order to bring in KD.

I'm 99% sure that is what will happen lol.

I just have this weird feeling Kevin Durant is going to Boston.

That would be a dream come true haha, but I don't think so.
I think KD is going to stay in OKC or he is going to Golden State.

Golden State would be disaster and I would hate this move. Not because I am a GS-hater, but I think it would be much more interesting so see KD, Westbrook and Adams vs. Golden State and the Spurs next year.

Maybe but if I were KD, I'd really look at Boston if he wanted to leave OKC.

Yeah, I understand where the argument is coming from, but I can't see it happening. I know it is possible, but maybe I am just to pessimistic after the "fireworks" of the last two seasons
Like I said, it would be a dream come true and it maybe would make sense from a standpoint of leaving the West and hoping for a easier route to the finals, but at the end of the day I think it is much more likely that KD stays in OKC or goes to GS.

How funny would it be if out of nowhere KD says he is going to San Antonio or Miami ?

$11M for one of the better centers in the league is not hard to move, especially it's a one year deal. I could see the Bucks taking him back with maybe a pick.

I'd feel good as a fan just to be in the sweepstakes.

Peopld who think he is going to Boston, please explain your rationale. I am shocked how many people think they have a chance in this.

So which two are getting thrown into the octagon with the result that the loser is the one who's traded?

Maybe it's totally irrational to put so much stock into what voulgaris(sp?) is saying, but I have basically resigned myself to the idea he's going to the Warriors. Anything else would just be a pleasant surprise at this point. I was fearing this all along. When horford spurned OKC due to an inability to get assurances from KD and Westbrook it furthered my suspicion. The voulgaris stuff just put it over the top for me. Either way I just want some sort of conclusion here at this point. Don't drag this into the 4th, let us know tonight.

Durant has probably told the team who he is signing with.

If that team is Boston or Golden State he probably would not be announcing anything until they clear the cap space for him to sign.

I assume we will know soon when the first domino falls and a player his shipped to clear space.

That is the only reason I can see him not announcing soon

I agree with this, this has been my positionall along but I guess we'll know very soon. This board will probably crash if he signs with Golden State.

The Durant thread in the celtics forum was pretty intense and i'm a raps fan lol. I'm rooting for boston just because it balances out the top heavy west and creates a legit contender to Lebrons cavs in the East. Maybe they get Demarcus Cousins too if he's pissed about Rondo leaving.

I would think if he told OKC he's definitely not returning it would have leaked out by now though so my guess is he's still undecided.

I wouldn't mind seeing KD in SA. Seems more his speed, too. Plus the Spurs are a class act. I was rather put off by the Warriors behavior last season. Glad the had to swallow some humble pie. Had the same sense of disgust when Lebron went to South Beach and they (him, Wade, and Bosh) acted like fools with their welcoming before the season even started. Plus, I don't really see Miami as a realistic destination for him either if KD wants to win. Now if you said Orlando, i'd agree :D

People don't mention this a lot, but KD to Golden State pretty much eliminates OKC from contention. Their road to the Finals will be *easier*. They would only have the Spurs to worry about, and KD is a pretty good matchup against them.

If the decision is about creating the best opportunity to win multiple championships, there's simply no other option.
