Relax.

If he was going back to OKC, it would've been done by now. He's certainly not going to GS to be Curry's understudy. He wants to win MVPs, not help Curry win more.

He's coming here.

my heart says he's coming here, but its kind've hard for my brain to agree when everything that's come out says he's leaning towards gs.

Ok. I talked to one person who said Boston is not out. Another said they are, but laid good groundwork if KD does a 1+1 for next year.

And a third guy just said it is 100% Golden State. If it was OKC, he would have announced by now.

Take all of that with a very large grain of salt. I don't think anyone knows for sure. Hell, Woj got Horford wrong and 4 minutes later had to go back.

1. LA Clippers are out. They no longer have realistic means of creating space without dealing away Paul, Griffin or Jordan. Those guys are the draw of LA, so they are done.

2. Miami seems out as well. The word I heard is Durant doesn't love the way they've kind of jerked Wade around. He's also not sold they can build a contender in short order.

3. San Antonio has been really, really quiet, but everyone is saying he doesn't love the roster fit. And he's afraid it will be just him an Kawhi since the others are a touch older.

4. Golden State has the chance to build an amazingly top heavy roster with 4 true stars. That would draw anyone.

5. Boston - covered big time, but just in case: Loves the young, hungry roster. Loves the assets to keep improving. Loved that they signed Horford without knowing/caring if he was coming or not.

6. OKC is home. Russ is there. In a lot of ways staying there would be easiest. This is just speculation, but the longer it goes, the worse it looks that he is returning to OKC.

7. Don't think it is a lock he is signing a 1+1. Word is this has been stressful and he hasn't loved the process. He has more than enough money, so locking up a situation long term may be the most desirable situation.

I might have missed something. It has been a long ass day.

Is this just word flying around ? Or one person ?

The info is probably right. Keep the updates coming

Interesting how Royce and Smitty's intel seems to be completely different.

Got a notification saying he's choosing between OKC and Warriors? ****. ****.

At least don't go to Golden State then..seriously. We may as well fast forward to the finals.

I've met Danny a couple of times, and from my experiences with him and from what I've heard from others, he is very reactional (I think that's a word?)

I'm sure he's trying hard for Jimmy Butler at this very moment. Adding Butler would make this a no brainier I would have to imagine. Will Danny succeed? Hopefully.

No need.

KD knows by now what pieces we have to trade and who we can trade them for.

Like ive said all along, if he comes here, then you unload all assets on a guy like Butler or Cousins.

But if he spurns us, then Danny isn't going to handicap our future for a small midnight hour push.

The cards have been dealt, the chips are in the middle. We'll now see who has the winning hand.

This is all good news. Our man KD is not making this decision lightly, or impulsively. Let's hope he gets visited by the ghosts of Celtics present, past, and future tonight. Curiously, I think IT makes an excellent little Timmy.

Not necessarily true, especially if he is still undecided at this point. Also, I don't think either one of us knows want durant truly wants. All we can do is speculate. If he really had no interest in doing what you said, GS wouldn't even be a consideration.. But it is.

I think Royce's stuff is probably more team related. I can't guarantee that though. I don't know his sources.

Mine may not be quite as well connected and they are not all team related.

My personal opinion is that I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Exactly. I'm sure Danny has laid the ground work to KD. No need to make moves unless until he sign here.

I'm not doing this **** again tomorrow. If he signs, great. If not, whatever. As long as the Brooklyn Nets continue to suck over the next two years, there is hope for this organization.

Do you guys think Ainge allows Durant to have a good night sleep?

Maybe you guys do some huge trade, that shifts things a bit?

We're on West coast time now
