My guess is that they might use the stretch provision on Splitter. I couldn't see them trading Korver. Sefolosha could be an interesting option in a minor trade. Cheap defensive stopper, although he just turned 32. Statistically I have him as the league's fourth best defensive player last year, sixth best the season before.

Orlando has Ibaka,Biyombo,Gordon and Vucevic now. I think they will trade Vucevic soon. He should be candidate to trade Boston If we dont get Horford.

I dont understand Orlando's executives, they give everything for Ibaka, So we can get Vucevic cheaper.

With Horford in the fold, I think Vucevic is a great target anyway if we don't get Durant. Some real big men on this team would do wonders...

Horford, Vuc, Jerebko, Mickey, Bentil and some Crowder at the 4 is plenty for those two positions. Or maybe you can sign and trade Sully and keep Amir.

Another idea would be some sort of 3-way where we sign and trade Sully to a third team that ships something to Sacto and we get Rudy Gay. Indiana? Add Sully to their big man rotation, trade Ellis to Sacto and net us Gay?

He can score and rebound though. And his raw block and steal numbers are actually on par with Horford, though obviously those aren't the only things that come with defense.

We couldn't get Middleton or expiring Hayward. Have a feeling that Gallo will be very expensive.

Save the cap space and the picks. At the very least you can bring in Hayward next year in free agency. Westbrook is also a free agent next year as well as Ibaka and a crap load of other guys. Save the money if we don't land KD.

Not off the bench, would trade for him gladly though and if we do we still have the max space for next year if Durant does 1+1.

Starting 5 of IT/Bradley/Crowder/Horford/Vuc is very very good. Off the bench Rozier/Smart/Brown/Mickey/Olynyk.

Possibly mentioned already but Monroe perhaps? If you have a solid defensive player at the other big spot who can also stretch the floor a bit, Monroe could also do a lot of the things Vucevic does (scoring, rebounding, play **** defense).

Contract is also very reasonable now in terms of money and length.

NO to Vucevic, he's a free agent pretty soon, not paying him 20 + mils, guys who can't defend or shoot 3s in the league are not on demand at this point.



I'm still looking at Butler, Nerlens Noel, Boogie Cousins. Okafor is somewhat tempting, but he's such a chair on defense and not a great shooter or an eye-popping athlete.

Well, I'll like to reiterate that Boston should trade for a scorer. Therefore, I suggest for Ainge to inquire about the availability of Gay or Gallinari.

I predict that Durant will re-sign with Oklahoma City for a one-year contract, or a two-year contract with a Player's option. I mean, this seems to be the prevailing opinion from the national media. Or he'll sign with Golden State. As a result, I predict that Ainge's Plan B is to trade for Rudy Gay from Sacramento.

Signing RFA Maurice Harkless is another option.

I know Horford always wanted to be a 4, so I like any of the centers on the list. I would definitely like to trade some of our quantity for more quality. Monroe/Middleton for Avery/Amir/ Oylynk or Jerebko /Young and a 1st?

What would a Westbrook trade look like? Value would really be contingent on an extension, but I would give up Smart, Brown, and a Brooklyn pick for resigned Westbrook. For a rental I would still give up Smart, Memphis 1st, LAC 1st (no Brooklyn picks, no Brown).
