Suns fan here. I appreciate the contributions Durant has not only made to OKC fans but to the NBA in general. I was disappointed when I woke up this morning to hear he was joining the Warriors. I knew there was a distinct possibility but I didn't think it would actually happen. You guys have one of the best fan bases in the league, a top five player in Westbrook, a young talent in Oladipo and an emerging presence in Adams. I hope you come back stronger than ever and really stick it to Durant and the Warriors. I'll be rooting for you guys.

This isn't cool guys. Russ and Kd Coulda gone down as 1 of the best duos in nba history had they spent their whole career in okc. Ugh

Here's where you get excited for the first game Durant comes back to town. LeBron's return game at the Q was crazy, even though we got wrecked considering our Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison led squad was pathetic across the board. I can't wait to see how Westbrook responds.

It'll also be interesting to see how KD handles the villain role throughout all of this.

Sound like my Magic fans when Shaq and Penny were with the team years ago.

I always saw KD as an unhappy head-scrather in OKC since his foot injury nearly 2 years ago. The way that injury was handled and completely missing the play-offs for possible medical incompetency may have changed KD's opinion about the franchise and his future in OKC.

IMHO, he was an emotionally soft man who never got the job done properly at elite level (hence the nickname beta) with slightly more than average BBIQ (more than WB but less than Gasol). His freakish physique and talent always masked his incompetencies so he bolted to another place where he could hide these even better. I have only been a fan of OKC for nearly 2 years now and I hated his attitude nearly all the time except some flashes like his press meeting defense of WB against Cuban's remarks or the 4th game against Spurs where he seemed to know exactly what he needed to do. Hope that he will be a grown man quickly before he suffers any serious injury and will come back to OKC the way LeBron did to pay his debt sometime later.

I appreciate that I got to watch and root for the man for eight years. I always thought we Thunder fans were soooo lucky to have this guy on our team. All the while, I never felt he would be here forever and today would arrive at some point.

Whether he made the right decision, time will tell , and only time will tell .... we just have to wait on that.

Until then, I move forward with the team we got, the players who want to be in OKC ....

Reality really set in when you could hear Presti of all people scrambling for words.

I just feel completely gutted at the moment.

It is not yet over....last time Jerry West put up a super team full of hall of famers like shaq, kobe, malone, payton they lost to the pistons. A top heavy team will be one injury away from blowing up.

Yeah but the Dubs aren't exactly losing a bunch of depth. Just thin up front, and Zaza helps soften that blow.

Anyway, Durant's always been an impressive player. Props to him for what he's managed to accomplish up until now.
