Re: What now?
Let's get Cousins, get by Lebron, beat the Warriors in the finals, then sign KD next summer and make him the 6th man

Watch Wade and Bosh go to Cleveland. Wade as a free agent and Bosh as a buy out.
They owe Lebron.

LeBron is still a FA and Westbrook is likely headed to the trade market. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Re: What now?
I'll try this thread instead of the other one:
1. The Kings are not trading Cousins. They are moving in to their new building and he's the only star on the roster. Maybe later, but not right now.
2. The Celtics would listen on Bogut, but the Warriors have very limited assets to get a team to eat his deal for them. The Mavs are good opportunity because he actually fills a need there as well.
3. Boston will apparently pivot to Middleton if the Bucks get Wade.
4. If not, they'll poke around Westbrook and Butler (again).

I'd rather develop Jaylen than trade for Middleton, who i like. All out for Boogie.

I'd be down for Middleton depending on cost. Not sure Butler will ever come at the right cost.

I would think Bradley would need to go out in a Middleton trade..... maybe not, but there would likely be plenty of PT for both.
I like the idea of giving Brown plenty of PT, but I think if we can land Middleton its worth looking at.

We are avarage already and not looking to tank. I would actually take a flier even on Monroe to play him at ceneter.

Re: What now?
I don't want to trade for Middleton if it costs us a BK pick. The road to short-term contention just got a lot less promising. Risk/reward is skewing towards building around the draft.

Agreed to sign. No one has actually signed anything yet. But it looks and sounds like GSW might try to make it a package of Bogut and Barnes to Dallas.

Yeah more than ever, the Celtics need to hold onto these BKN picks. Don't touch them unless the GSW experiment starts looking like a failure.

Appreciate you posting for the last couple of days (It's 3am in Melbourne as I type this) Will you do a mini report on how Brown is? Are the other rooks playing in the summer league?

I like this too. Trade for Butler too if the value is right and you end up with something like IT/Butler/Crowder/Griffin/Horford starting lineup. Not as talented as what GSW put together, but that team is a serious contender.
