As long as it gets TJ McConnell off the team, I'm for it.

Huh? The Sixers still have the Lakers top 3 protected pick AND swap rights with Sacramento.

Plus Sacramento's 2019 first round pick (unprotected), the year after Cousins leaves.

I think if Hinkie made a similar move last off-season he would still be here. I understand there would be risk adding a vet like this, but I can't imagine Serg adds more than 3-4 wins to this team. Really like this move.

Would have loved for a second year option for us

But I really liked this guy when he played back I. Portland, thought he was used horribly

Why do you want to move the rookie steals leader, 2nd in total asts (5 behind Mudiay); 2nd in apg; 2nd in GP while beung 17th among rookies in MP?

Love this addition. I can't recall ever having so many international players on the roster (Embiid, Simmons, Luwawu, Rodriguez, Saric).

I'm not interested in the stats of players on a 10 win team....McConnell is a 3rd string PG on a good team....He should spend this year in the D-League.

McConnell is good enough to be our 3rd string PG, and now that's what he is. What's the problem?

The guy who needs to go is Kendall Marshall. He was atrocious last year.

Because he doesn't belong in the NBA and I don't want to see him play for the 76ers any longer.
"... rookie steals leader... Please... what does that mean? Michael Carter Williams once led all rookies in scoring, rebounding and assists and he isn't a good starter in the league. McConnell has counting stats because the 76ers were the only team willing to go 0-30 giving major minutes to a guy who shouldve been a D-league rookie.

MCW was a stat-sheet stuffer; he wasn't playing limited minutes per game like Mcconnell. Also, steals and assists, and FG% for that matter (at 47% TJ was above average) aren't dependent on the level of wins your team has, as in the better the team the less you'll get. I don't think of TJ as any more as a backup on a 2nd tier team, 3rd string on a contender, but why is his name constantly in the mouths of people as a prime target to be jettisoned I don't know. Guys who lead categories in the NBA, or come close to it, belong in the NBA, point-blank.

Anyone who was asking for the return of Ish, or wanted Clarkson as the Sixers PG based on what he has DONE don't need to talk about TJ.

Holy ****, this is a really good signing. I had no idea he was even interested in a return to the NBA. Lead distributor that hits threes at nice volume and a really good percentage. Also a pretty decent steal rate over the last several years. I'd pencil him as the PG1 right now.

International experience playing uptempo and in a Spur/Hawk like system could be something pretty to watch.

BC making it hard for me to hate him. I still think hes setting us up for an awful Noel trade.

Either way JC and Josh Harris can still go $#%@% themselves
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie

Poor mans Rubio? I haven't seen much of him at all.

Rubio is a point guard that can't shoot, and Sergio is a shooting guard that can. Plus Rubio is much more talented.

Still, I love the move. He is a good player, and for 1 year I'd try anyone.
