Thread pt 3 and KD is still a sellout little girl.

I'm just glad my Cavaliers won it this year or man this move would actually hurt me a lot lol.

Given he's on 1+1. Let's say GSW win the chip next season, any chance KD opts out and leaves? Or is he a Warrior for good now?

This is really disappointing. Next season just got a lot less interesting.

depending on available cap space, he'll probably opt out to sign a bigger, longer contract with the warriors

And yet it was LeBron that has moved on to greener pastures twice already so why the hate for KD?

sucks for Barnes that his teammates were openly recruiting his replacement for an entire season. It may have even affected his game. He got his money though. All those supposed "great teammates" in Golden State.

I think he lost his Bird Rights so this move probably has costed some money. Maybe he's risking some stuff(money, OKC legacy) for the chance not to be a Malone legacy wise(scorer but not champion) as he can't play with a stacked roster, a good coach, while making bank for long. He could look like David West/2011 LeBron by this time next year or like a twisted version of Rodman depending on a title.

Bogut and Barnes were the two guys who openly talked about the disrespect of seeking to change a team that's a GOAT contender.

Both are gone. It's a cruel world lol.

OKC was destined for the NBA finals this year...really unfortunate the KD story has to end this way. It's funny to think that if he shot 12/31 or 13/31 in game 6 they would've beaten GSW but no, he had to miss 21 shots.

At the end of the day Kevin Durant is only looking out for his own career as he should. If he wants to win then joining the Golden State Warriors who won 73 games last year is a no brainer. Why should he be forced into a decision by other people when it is his free agency ? In twenty years do you think he will care what people said about his decision when he is looking at his rings(providing GS win of course). Ask Lebron, D Wade and Chris bosh if they would trade their two rings for being liked by the general NBA population from 2010-2014.

Wait there are 3 threads dedicate to Labron fans that hate that KD is joining a loaded team?

I'm not butthurt about it. It'll be exciting to watch, and the NBA has needed a good villain since LeBron left Miami. Part of what the Heatles gave the NBA was a guarantee that their opposition would always bring their A+ game.

Now we have the story of GSW going from feelgood to despised, and from day 1 of the regular season, teams will be trying to steal their thunder, if only for one game.

Gonna play my little brother in 2k on arcade mode.

Golden State Vs Golden State.

That's the only joy I will have from this news.

man get out of here. Barnes knew what the deal was from the start.

+ with how horrible he played in the finals, i doubt the Warriors were trying to sign him to what he and his agent wanted
