Hibbert appreciation - signs with CHA

Even though he's a terrible player now that people had some seriously unrealistic expectations for last year, I thought Hibbert provided some immeasurable professionalism and leadership last year.

Despite his limitations he was always out there busting his butt, effort was never a concern. Most importantly to me he was always supportive of the youngsters whether it be on the court, to the media, or on social media. He was egoless and above the bs that sometimes surrounded the Buron Scott- Youngsters relationship last year.

Good luck in Charlotte!

Trash. Don't the Hornets already have like 5 centers on the team?

Remember one of the first days of camp. Rookies talking about spending late into the night in Hibbert's room watching game films

Best of luck to him

I still like Hibbert a lot regardless of last year. Immeasurable character and professionalism.

Wish him best of luck in Charlotte, hope he can start again and rehabilitate his career.

The big oaf would have been a lot more lovable if he didn't fall over half the time.

Good guy. Very professional. Saw him at Sprinkle's Cupcakes at least half a dozen times. Best of luck in Charlotte

The tank commanders number one soldier. Thanks for helping us get Ingram, we will never forget
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

I like and appreciate Roy... he was pretty awful for us production-wise, but he could be a very serviceable backup.

Regarding falling, though... holy crap... I remember an indy fan saying that pre-season and thinking he was just salty, but I have NEVER seen a player fall that much in a season wow.

He was flat out terrible, but he is a great guy. I wish him luck in Charlotte.

It's really hard for me to appreciate a guy who gets paid solely because he's tall. Sure he's a nice guy or whatever but he's not a productive basketball player anymore.

I can appreciate the fact his suck helped us land Ingram. For that I guess I'll be grateful! Thanks Hibbs!

The best move in this offseason so far. Getting rid of this fraudulent "anchor" is the best we've done in years.

i was scared we were going to resign him, tbh. he's a good guy i'm sure, but there are good guys who can help win games. i'm relieved he's gone.

From Day 1, I said he reminded me of Kane from WWE. The way he falls over all the time. Clumsy b**tard.

I wish he was still on the Lakers for 1 year 5 mil instead of Mozgov 4 year 16 mil.

I would like to see what he did w Luke as coach. He didn't rebound but he took up space. I think he could have learned to play Boguts role. And I like him a lot off the court.

Instead we signed a Russian on the wrong side of 30 to a long term deal when Westbrook will be looking to team

The number one reason why we got Ingram. Hibbert is a true Laker Legend!
