Rondo and Butler seems like a weird fit. Rondo needs to handle the ball a lot and he doesn't help with spacing. Doubt he goes back to being a plus defender. Just couldn't stay in from of anyone.

He was open to it this season when Gay would try to create. Rondo actually turned into a good spot up shooter from 3. I think Butler/Rondo could work.

Some thoughts of note -
- Hoiberg has a pretty freelance offense.. Rondo should fit well in that sense.
- Butler likes the ball in his hands creating, at least some of the possessions. Will Rondo be cool/effective with that?
- Will he return to being a positive defender now that he's on a pretty competitive team again?
It may be able to work out with Butler when he has a good match up. But as long as Rondo is running things a lot of the time you should be ok.
His D is the biggest question mark.
I say he can play better than he did, others think it was so bad, even so, it would be poor. So I guess we will see.
Freelance/improvised offense is what he's good with.
The big guys need to run the floor and look for lobs too.
You'll probably be ok man.

Yeah when we had problems was when Rudy was playing hero ball and no one else was moving just sort of standing there. When the ball moved early in the clock to Rudy and then he decided to create it looked a lot better.
Will probably take the Bulls a bit of time to feel each other out.

Re: Rondo
I really like where the Kings are going, so i was hoping you'd keep him.
But best of luck! Rooting for you guys. Seems like things are on the come up over there & I enjoyed chatting it up with a few of you guys.

Good luck rooting for the Bulls. Aren't the C's rivals with them?

Yeah lol. Feel like the C's have some kind of rivalry with everyone. Really, I think the C's a trending upward, while the Bulls are trending down. Would love to see a 2-7 match up next year. I mean I love Rondo. Think he's interesting & misunderstood, but don't mean i'd root for him over the C's.
