Philip Humber

With Perez on the DL now, why don't the Mets bring up Humber instead of Dave Williams. He's one of their top prospects, why not showcase him now?

probably because humber's not doing that great at AAA. dave williams was a good #5 last year for us...all he's gotta do is pitch a game or two...don't panic people

I am not panicking. I think this was probably spot to bring him up. THe guy is getting up their in age. He is about to turn 25 this year. Shouldn't the Mets atleast give him 1 start in the major leagues already.

no, not really. he's recovering from TJ surgery. there is really no reason to rush him. williams has ML experience; we'll be fine

Good strikeout to walks ratio though, but yeah no need to rush him just yet.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
