We don't have the details, yet. It might actually be this. Or a 2nd year might only have a partial guarantee. I'm willing to wait and see. Even if it's 2 yrs guaranteed, it's not horrible in this market.

i personally don't think it does/ think they can still go for more "vets" or a crabbe and just cut ties with some of the players from last year instead during camp but who knows...
and there is always the possibility of a trade of one of the bigs...

I think it has to end FA for us. And it fits with BC's stated goal of maintaining cap flexibility, something that signing Crabbe would not, if the 4 yr huge offer from Brooklyn was legitimate. I don't think the Rudy thing is on the table anymore either, but I guess we'll see. That would be a lot more likely than Crabbe at this point. I think that's just wishful thinking from fans who want to bandwagon latch onto every hot name FA just because other teams are looking at them.
Frankly, I think BC has done the right thing. Limit free agency to 1 to 2 yr deals, plug a couple of holes, wait for the right trade for Noel/Okafor. Even at this rate, they're going to have to waive Landry and Marshall. Brett Brown loves Hollis. The only expendable roster space at this point belongs to Stauskas.

I think it's more likely they waive Holmes than Landry. Of course, if they deal Okafor (or Noel), then that could open up a roster spot. And Marshall is definitely gone no matter what.

You think so? Holmes has shown such potential and while Landry is a solid pro, he has zero future on this team. Holmes is signed for low dollars and team options for the next few years. I don't see how BC would keep Landry over him.
