If Billy Donovan released those texts then that is really bad form. I don't like Durant's decision, but that would be an extremely petty move for somebody who is supposed to be a leader.

What texts are these?

Read the ESPN article about what changed for KD. There are texts at the beginning it alludes to that when I first read it looked like they were to BD. Went back and read it and it's actually ambiguous who the texts are to.
