Absolutely nailed the problem with the front office's mentality. We're looking at 3-4 year road just to get back to being a playoff team. We need some new blood at the GM position. Someone who isn't afraid to wheel and deal and knows how to build a team from the ground up. I wonder if there's anyway for the rest of the Buss kids to convince Jim to bring in a new GM and promote Mitch to another position.

yeah cause Stern and his basketball reasons had nothing to do with the team being in that position to begin with

Basketball reasons happened get over it. Apparently the answer to that decision was to trade 2 first round picks for a 150 year old Steve Nash and hiring Mike D'Antoni :noway:

I don't get it you were agreeing that the original reason for our failures was the Nash/Howard signing and I pointed out that the actual original reason was basketball reason then you say that happened get over it then you point out that our answer was to basketball reason was the Nash/Howard signing. Without basketball reasons we wouldn't have been in the position to sign Nash/Howard. So yeah you are making my point yet you are saying get over it. I'm over it I'm just pointing out the original cause duh!

When I voted right before the free agency period, Jeanie was leading 12-11. I dont think the fans like the signings.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Heard an interesting thing on Mason and Ireland podcast. The statement made was that Jerry West left because he felt that the relationship between Jeanie and Phil would limit his power in making future decisions. So in theory Jeanie is the reason that Jerry West left. Not that i don't appreciate what Mitch has been able since Wests departure but at the very least if West is still here we don't see the meteoric rise of the Warriors. Therefor Jeanie has hurt the franchise worse.
