Pretty sure those same people would love it if he stayed here, so this post makes little to no sense. I'll never understand the extremes....but I sure do hope both sides can figure it out. D-Wade is a big reason why I became not only a Heat fan, but an NBA fan in general.

Your feelings on Wade are very clear but your repetition of the silly phrase "Kobe contract" is getting very annoying.

Wade is a top player in the league$25m this year and next year is a very reasonable salary for him.

We get it that you don't like him and wouldn't pay him the money but enough of the hyperbole please.

Dude, I love D Wade but he's like the 8th best two guard at best if we wanna be honest lol. He probably will drop a few more spots by the end of the year. Paying him that much would definitely be Kobe-esque. D wade is Kobe east essentially.

You're on planet Zog my friend. :noway:

If DWade is that poor I guess our progress to within 1 game of the ECF (without Bosh and Hassan) was due to the almighty Goran - is he even in the top 20 PGs? or 1 of our 2 rookies or McWabbits.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

It's been so ugly that when we look back at those years, it's tough to be happy and enjoy that time.

It begins and ends with Lebron in my mind. Such an enigma. Who goes back to the **** show he left? Nobody. No. Body.

I guess he saw the writing on the wall and realized how difficult it would be to contend while paying huge contracts to a select few, one of which was an injury concern. Very self preserving. Goes back to a clean slate in Cleveland with every possible advantage given and still feels the need to string Miami along in free agency.

At that point I suppose Miami was supposed to curl up and die, but they didn't. They found a bunch of players and rebuilt their team almost instantly. Pretty awesome actually. Too quick to pay Wade his Kobe contract though. We needed him to continue to sacrifice. Now the cap goes up and everyone gets paid and Wade is left to wonder how much more he will have to sacrifice in order to build a Cleveland opposing contender in his twilight. I'm sure Lebron has been whispering in his ear telling him to get paid, tearing down the last remaining piece of what could have been his chief rival for East supremacy. Take him on a banana boat while a whale is visiting Miami. /conspiracy theory.

So we're just going to do this every year until Wade retires? It's ridiculous and it makes the franchise look bad. Either commit to Wade over 3 years with no opt-outs, or let him go. He has shown that he's just going to opt out every year, and make subtweet attacks on the organization. For an organization that likes to keep things in house so much, what kind of example is this setting for the young players on how to do business with the Heat? I don't think we could look any worse than we already do by letting Wade walk.

Let him go get his money and some bad trade to Cleveland, so he and his BFF can go get worked by the Warriors next year. So over it. When you see what guys like Dirk and Duncan do for their organizations, and then you see Wade...it's just another Kobe situation. Give me mine at whatever cost to the team or winning. How can you bring in such a selfish player when there are questions about his long term health and age?

Another extremist post. The situation is hardly comparable to Kobe as Wade's deal would eat much less of the cap than Kobe's. In fact, it'd be fair market value compared to the current market prices.

Him earning 20 or 25 million makes little to no difference as we have massive amounts of money tied up to Bosh, Whiteside and Dragic over the next few years anyways. Thus his demands are not comparable to those of Kobe. Wade wants a fair deal and sees that him sacrificing a few million isn't gonna change anything anyways.

If Wade truly only wants 50/2, then Riley is more of a fool in this than Wade.

Your teams mantra should be SACRIFICE, well actually it should be D WADE YOU SACRIFICE. He is still your best player and should get some respect, thats the bottom line. From an outsiders point of view, your front office are taking Wades loyalty for granted. Kevin Durant was never a real option for you guys with Bosh's uncertainty and that is a fact.

So from the very first day of free agency your front office priorities were Whiteside and Durant for max and then D Wade you have to give us some discount, lol. Even if you guys had managed to trade Dragic and Mcbob, management were still counting on Wade to take a discount. But why do you ask more out of Wade????

BTW i really do hope that this gets resolved and Wade stays put where he belong(Miami). Best of Luck.

Exactly! This whole "Kobe Deal" angle is just as annoying as "Kade".

We're not going to do this until Wade retires, this two year deal would be his final Heat contract, since it will be his last that is worth over 15 million. He will go chase rings after on other teams. Strongly believe Wade plays on another jersey in 2018-2019 season or retires.

So 38 years old pitiful Nowitzki worth $40M "thanks" contract but 34 years old, 12 time all-star, 3 times champ, one time real MVP, franchise legend, still productive and team leader Wade lowballed again, first 8/year, then 20... Forget presence at game-winning moments and everything just look at numbers in every category, raw or Advanced, he is still better than $120M Batum guy or 85M(new cap adjusted 120M) Dragic.

Wade cares more about Miami Heat then any of us that posts here.

Enough insulting the guy, its pathetic how some were on durant bandwagon joining us..and forgot the guy that served us for so many years. There were those who had no problem to dump wade for durant, including some part of our management. Yet its wrong for Wade to ask for more money????
