Seriously, like I said yesterday this idea makes my stomach turn........I wouldn't trade KP for anyone and I mean for no one! I don't even like RW game let alone trade the UNICORN for him especially when hell be a free agent that already has let it be known he ain't resigning

I do think OKC will find some taker, the way Cuban was with Rondo, who will pay some picks for the shot to keep him and to rent him at least. They now seem to be in a position where they have to pull the trigger before he's lost for nothing.

Chris Paul
Courtney Lee
Carmelo Anthony
Kristaps Prozingis
Joakim Noah

That's an contending team especially since KP going to take a leap next season and be a 16&8 guy.

I hate to say the word but we have "leverage" if he truly wants to be here. Similar to the Melo trade when he was expiring but we don't have Donnie Walsh this time around.

Walsh was terrible for us. Phil Jackson much better.

How do you figure? He signs a guy for 4 year 72 m that has barely played the past few years?

I love Westbrook but Durant couldn't win with and I know we can't so I'll pass.

I can understand someone being contrarian and pointing out the proven talent/production discrepancy between the two as a reason for wanting to do the deal, but that completely ignores the financial side of the equation which actually might be the most valuable component of guys like KP, KAT, etc.

Only a person with the patience of a goldfish would support trading KP for Westbrook. Unfortunately our owner possesses this very attribute.

As dumb as Dolan is, I doubt he'd push Phil to make this deal unless Westbrook came resigned. Either way it's atrocious, and I'd be furoius if it happened.

If this drops below 90%, the whole board should be shut down.

Not only lack of patience. It needs to be complete idiot to do this trade.

Its not Porzingis for Durant/Lebron/A.Davis or some other veteran star you'd build a team around.
Its expiring deal of Westbrook.

We also have D.Rose..
Completely non-sense.

I'm not trading KP for anyone in the league. Yes KAT/A.Davis would be intriguing but KP has higher potential. He looks excellent off the court too. He has winner mentality.
Porzingod will bring success to NY. We must believe in him. He'll take care rest of it.

i'm surprised by the reception of this proposal, considering the lauding of phil's win now moves, from many on this board.

Fans from other boards will come and cast their vote, its their trolling that will/can skew the numbers not necessarily knick fans.

Why is this even being discussed? Who the 17 dumb dumbs that voted yes? Only Knick fans would propose a question such as this. That's why you have some people thinking you can't rebuild in NY. Much like the owner, you have a good portion of the fan base that want a quick fix.
I have not read this thread yet. But in now way shape or form, does such a deal even remotely makes sense. Dude is a UFA next year.

And KP is the reason that players will want to come to NY in the first place.

Really? Westbrook does more than Curry. Curry the better shooter and more handle. Westbrook does everything else better imo.

He traded Chandler and Felton for Dalembert and Calderon. And y'all act like Westbrook is a bum. KP has POTENTIAL. I remember a day where Landy Fields and Shump were considered untouchable to most fans. People have good first years. Lowry was offered for Shumpert and we said no!! We over value our youth sometimes. This doesn't mean I want to trade KP, but there are a handful of players I would trade KP for and Russ is one
