Larry is looking to build this team with playmakers, so Lance looks to be a better fit than Rush. Also, Lance can be a good defender if he wants to.

I'm a bit meh on Stephenson. I'd prefer to take Mike Dunleavy off Chicago, or just funnel minutes into GR3.
Seeing Lance be a free-agent after leaving for $200k more per season is kind of like seeing your ex get dumped. Enjoyable.

Can't get Dunleavy back anymore, it seems.

Re: Report: Lance discussing multi-yr deal w/Pacers
Our division has 5 playoff teams potentially, it's going to an all-out war next season. Cavs are adding Dunleavy, we got better on paper, Pistons are going to be another year more experienced and added Jon Luer through free agency and Henry Ellenson through the draft. Bucks added Delly and Mirza and will be another year more experienced.
Not exactly sure what to make of the Bulls, but adding winners like Rondo and Wade, if they can stay healthy, are huge acquisitions. They also drafted Denzel Valentine, who seems like he could contribute early on. Their front court will be interesting with Portis, Lopez, Gibson, and Mirotić.
Of the five, I'd say the Bucks are the least likely to make the playoffs, but they still have some nice pieces to make things interesting.

The trade I already said made so much sense. Gets us Lance and gain some cap space. But the Jeremy Evans pickup means GRIII or Lavoy may be involved. Which leads me think Larry is trying to gain as much capspace (Crabbe? Please) as possible or were getting more than Lance back (Vince Carter? who had a nice conversation with Larry while announcing a summer league game the other day).

I could get on board with this. I'd offer Lance 3years/30mil with a team option after year 1. If Lance plays nice you've got a good player at a very reasonable price. If he doesn't there's an exit plan.
Not a fan of either Ellis or Lance but, the most glaring need this team has is a 3 and D wing. Ellis will never be that, Lance with the right mind set could.

I'd rather see what Meta World Peace is up to. We could at least use 6 fouls on LBJ a few times a year!

Bird's comments at presser suggest he's unlikely to come here.
