What kind of cap space do the bulls need to clear now that theyre getting Wade? Can we get in on this?

Please please please let Brooklyn take Calderon. That would be fantastic for us. I actually think the heat will be better without Wade. He and dragic were a terrible fit

Dunleavy to Cavs. GM Lebron already found Delly's replacement.

Remember the C's have the '18 pick too. It's in our best interests for Brooklyn to not improve through then. Worrying about the margins, like the possibility of Miami tanking, is beside the point. No matter what the C's are best off with Brooklyn being as bad as possible.

If Tyler Johnson is as good as Brooklyn hopes, then he should be able to help keep Miami competent.

So every team just employs the ATL defense used against the Celtics on the Bulls?

Miami still has Whiteside dragic Richardson and Winslow, they are in much better shape than the nets

I'm not crazy about this Bulls big 3...this could easily blow up in their faces...Wade is ripe to break down, Rondo is ripe to melt down, leaving Butler ripe to demand a trade...

This is great for our playoff run. Only teams will be competing against are Toronto, Indiana, and probably Orlando (?).

As long as the others are not worse than Brooklyn, weee goood.

Bulls lost their mind. Rondo/Wade backcourt is gonna be awful. They had two paths, tank or retool with young guys on value deals. Instead they went full Knicks mode.

Gar Forman: "...we've got to put this back together now, going younger, more athletic and building it back up moving into the future."
John Paxson: " I do think going forward our vision of how to play, it’s what the league is getting to now. It’s more skilled basketball players, more pace up and down. We didn’t play that way this year for a lot of reasons."

Bulls then go ahead and keep Butler, sign Rondo and an aging Wade, all of whom have had knee troubles, can't shoot, and need the ball in their hands. Riiiiight.

The fact that they signed both Rondo and Wade, to me, signals that they're looking to trade Butler more aggressively than ever. I really don't see any of those three playing SF or coming from the bench (or being happy without the ball in their hands).

Well that's the last FA shoe to drop, the rest is just bit parts.

Agree with most of the sentiments above, this was a good scenario. BRK gets cock blocked, Miami gets weaker, big catastrophe potential in Chicago, all in one move.

On to the trade season, hope it's fun and productive.

Honestly, I don't think they know what the hell they are doing. After watching what Durrant did, and assuming Cleveland rolls on...reloading with aging stars like Wade and Rondo is idiotic. This is the perfect time to "rebuild" for a season and not waste space and younger players for Wade and Rondo.

Frankly, I can't imagine Wade signing with the Bulls without a guarantee that he'll be a starter. Rondo could become the most toxic player in the league if asked to be a sub. So it's Butler to the bench or to another team. My money is on the latter.

Unless, of course, the team finds a way to not sign Rondo now that they have a commitment from Wade... but that would be filthy.
