well we are not winning anything, and east looks much better then west this season. i think our goal this season is get a high draft pick and explore trades.

I still am in the belief that you can build a contender quicker than you realize with the salary cap exploding these 2 years. Also remember folks, teams with whales that are unhappy creep out of nowhere. Things can go bad quickly. We need to maintain pace with the 4-8 seeds to have a shot at these type of players.

We were a 5-7 seed with wade. I doubt we make the playoffs

I'm not. I'm quite excited for this season. Get to see our young players get a lot more opportunity, plus the potential of cap space and a top pick if he season is a disaster. Like I said before, reminds me a bit of 2002 season

Look at the offensive and defensive efficiency numbers with Wade on the court and without Wade. We are actually very good without him.

Our concerns should be finding someone who can give us easy points when the offense stalls like Wade did. The offensively gifted players are easier to find. Most of them are knuckleheads (like Green, Beasley..etc) but they are out there and we just need them to give us a couple of years until we get back on steady footing.

This team can reach the playoffs, but in the postseason it has shown that players of Wade'a current calibre are at the very least necessary in order to win.

I would personally wait out the Boah situation. He either medically retires or will play and be trade able again. Once he's gone, move Dragic as well.

Whether we should keep Whiteside or not depends on his play this season. He should not be completely untouchable either.

What are our needs?

1. Backup center who can play if Whiteside cannot or spell him during games.
2. Starting power forward. (someone who can hold down the position while Bosh is out)
3. Backup wing (preferably a veteran who can defend at the 3 and shoot a 3)
4. More backcourt help to help run the offense if there are injuries.
5. A replacement for TJ from capspace if you choose not to sign him
6. Another prospect

You have $18.9M to spend of cap space, a room exception (if you don't use it on Haslem), and that's it.

1. Choose one: Marreese Speights
2. Choose one: Derrick Williams
3. Choose one: Maurice Harkless
4. Choose one; Beno Udrih

Not sure we can get all of those in the $18.9m, but we can always try.

I actually have no reason for any of them, they are just the names that appealed to me from the lists you gave.

I'm so down right now I would be okay with a trade for Gay, to replace Deng. ****.

We're never going to win like that.

Let's win as many as we can with the young 'uns and enjoy the basketball.

We should aim to trade Dragic, Bosh and McRob for young players with talent or draft picks . No Tank.

Trade Dragic = Tank

He is the only one player who will affect the win no in the current Heat roster.

If the NBA does not get a handle on this, they are in big trouble. It would be great if the NBA secretly tries to put an end to the "Super Friends" circle of Lebron, Wade, Carmelo and CP3 by making sure they never win a ring again.

we will not tank, but the team will be so bad ..it will be tanking team.

we lost wade, joe jhonson and deng. bosh might not play. So we have just 2 players who averaged above 9 ppg last year. Dragic & Whiteside ( 14 ppg both)
