SVG should look into trading Baynes + Bullock for a upgrade at the 2 guard spot...

SVG must have a lot of faith in Bullock he traded Meeks and hasn't added and other SG's in FA.

Meeks asked to be traded.

I know but it has to be a reason. Probably was told he would get much playing time.

I honestly believe Bullock is going to be just fine, and flourish in the role. Early on last year he was just horrendous but when he gained confidence he became a damn fine backup.

Bullock is a confidence player. He has it now and I have zero issue with him. I'm actually happy we have him and we didn't have to sign Eric Gordon who would have been a Joe Dumas signing.

Dodged a bullet there.

If KCP goes down in the season, there's no way in hell Hilliard or Bullock will be able come in to handle 32+ minutes a game to replace KCP.. Detroit needs high quality Backup Players to be able to compete in todays NBA.. We dont need Mediocre Player who can potentially only handle 10-15 minutes of playing time... Imagine if Reggie Jackson got injured last season.. Pistons would have been **** screwed if they would have had to depend on Steve Blake and Spencer Dinwiddie to take up those 48 minutes for Reggie.. and BTW, VAn Gundy didnt trade Meeks so Reggie Bullock can backup KCP.. Jodie Meeks demanded a trade.. Learn how to research before coming on this forum Spewing useless rhetoric..

Learn to research!

Why would Meeks demand a trade when he's the back up SG you're talking about?

Why would we trade him if we weren't sold on Bullock?

He demanded a trade because he knew how high we were/are on Bullock and was gonna have to battle for his minutes!

I believe Smitty mentioned it as part of his SL thing too so it's not just me spewing random stuff

SVG was asked by the det news where they are with signing KCP... Nothing to report yet but they would love to sign him as he is considered part of the core... I wouldn't expected KCP to be traded this year.
