Exactly, Hibbert had one bad statistical season and people bash him. What about Batum? He had a pretty bad season before he came to Charlotte. Or even Williams? His season before last season was bad. Plenty of people have bad seasons, but the career stats show Hibbert is a steal for 5 million a year.

But Ezeli's 4pt/4rb career average would've made us a 50 win team?

Hibbert averaged 10/7 in his last year with Indy in 25 mins? Roughly 1.5 blocks as well.

We have two backups that are decent 3rd center options, but probably not full time backup material. I think they complement each other enough that we will be ok with 30 minutes of Cody, 10 minutes of Hawes, and 8 minutes of Hibbert. The issue is that if Cody gets injured we might be in serious trouble. I'm not confident Frank will be able to play any center next season, but if he can that would be huge. We might need to commit more to playing small with Frank or Marv at center if Cody misses time.

Hibbert at 5 mill is not worth the money. All the bigs here are better than him which is not saying a lot. I think we should move Zeller asap. I have been HIGH on us getting Christian Wood. We should be able to get Wood easily since philly is loaded at center
