Dunleavy > Durant?
not sure about that but the Cavs did win four of five from the Warriors, including game seven at the Oracle..
After firing their coach mid season. After Love and Kyrie and Shumpert being out injured the entire offseason
So it goes to say GS would need a lot more help to catch up.
GS really lacking the inside game to set up their shooters... were last year and even more now. Not sure adding Durant while losing Barnes, Bogut, Ezeli, Varejao, Speight solves any defensive issues either. LeBron and Kyrie will be taking it to the rim with ease.
Yes, consider this a Cavs fan talking trash because we're the Champs. Probably would be back to back Champs if not for injuries.. so as much as the media and front runners love to tout the "dubs", the really are lucky to have the one championship they do have.. I doubt Durant gets them back over the hump. What have his teams ever won? In fact, his team choked a 3-1 lead.. he should fit right in on Golden State.

Lol, enjoy your Chip and settle down. You don't need to twist your brain around to believe that the Cavs are near equal to the new Warriors. The Warriors were the better team this year and lost. The only way the Cavs have a shot to repeat is if the injury bug strikes down GS.

Now an injury to a starter will hurt even more. Losing Barnes, Barbosa, Speights, Bogut, Fezeli, Rush.
PG Curry - Livingston
SG Thompson - Livingston/Igoudala
SF Durant - Igoudala
PF Green - West
C O'Neal? - Looney/Perkins?
Cleveland is looking good too.
PG Irving - MoWill
SG Shumpert - Dunleavy
SF Lebron - Jefferson
PF Love - Frye
C Thompson - Kaun

lol, "Losing Barnes". You mean replacing a Barnes who went 5-32 on open shots over the last three games of the finals (which is probably the worst shooting stretch in finals history) with a top 3 overall player in the NBA? You mean replacing Bogut with Pachulia who is a better player and is not a complete scrub like Ezili?

Barnes was bad in the finals because the Cavs defense finally figured out the Warriors had no one they needed to worry about down low and no one really to worry about taking it to the rack. Didn't the rest of the Warriors shoot poorly in those last several games too? I thought so.
Barnes was your third leading scorer over 82 games and more, so let's not act like he didn't contribute at all. He's a solid player who had a bad finals.
Pachulia? You really think he's going to help? A few points maybe... but he couldn't block Mugsy Bogues shot. Lebron and Kyrie are going to penetrate at will against the current W's. And now the Cavs bench could be stronger than the Warriors... methinks a repeat. And Durant will leave next year disappointed with no title.

That was the main difference in the Finals. The role player that was left open had historically, the most horrific 3 game shooting stretch in NBA finals history. If he was just plain bad then the Warriors would have won.
Barnes wasn't "my" third leading scorer over 82 games, he was fourth. Yes, the Warriors just replaced their distant fourth option and role player with the third overall best player in the league and one of the greatest offensive talents in generations. And while at the same time still upgrading their Center spot.
Maybe your still in the mourning faze right now but you're being straight up delusional. There is a reason why Durant is getting killed over this decision. Barring injury, the Warriors are the biggest favorites to win the NBA title in league history.
