I trust San Antonios opinion more than ours. We made a mistake.

Then why did they only give him a small 2 year deal...they don't know any more than we do...it's a feeler contract.

They could have signed anyone. They obviously like him for a reason.

It could be that he is a per minute beast and statistically one of the best rim protectors in the league. He is also 7 foot, hyper athletic and can draw fouls/make free throws. Not surprised SA swept him up, the advanced stats support his game and they will probably just make him better.

Surprised he didn't go to GS. Take a one year deal, have a shot to win a championship, and seems like more minutes to establish a contract for next year.

San Antonio does a good job of developing and playing their backup bigs.... they always end up getting poached by other teams, too.
