Just no idea who Denver would want for him.

Also said "I think we're not done" when asked about the opening night roster

Always good when you're on the same page as the Gm

I do think we need a counter for the O Rebs of Drummond, Thompson etc come playoff time

Can't figure what shooters they are looking at. Also a ton of centers have come and gone so not sure who that would be either.

In order to say you need more shooting, shooting needs to currently exist. You need shooting DA. Period.

I do agree with the stronger center. Find a way to pry Cousins or Okafor. Horford wants to play the 4. Let him play it.

Every off season for the past 5 years, Danny is quoted saying we need a center/rim protector. He's starting to sound like a fool. There have been PLENTY of centers available in free agency and in the draft over that time....

I like Danny's drafting and trading as a whole but this issue with the center almost looks like he's deliberately ignoring this need, then saying "oops we didn't get one again".

It's like after Fab, he just gave up and decided to never ever again take a shot at a raw 7 footer.

I see Speights is still available though...he'd fit with what we do...maybe that's an option but I doubt that will happen...

It's listed on Celticsblog as official too (http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2016/6/30/12052290/nba-free-agent-signings-tracker-2016-rumors, scroll down to the bottom of the list, it's chronological). No mention of Jerebko, so I guess he's a goner.

Danny Ainge said last night the Celtics we're excited to have both Amir and JJ back. They both are back.

Ainge on Amir and Jonas: "We're excited to have them back."

I've wondered if it's a way to keep a ceiling on how much the team can overachieve. But yeah, the Rozier draft was a killer, we should've tanked that year, there were half a dozen potentially very good bigs who came into the league and we got none of them.

Speights has been signed by the Clippers. I know what you mean though. It's getting beyond ridiculous now. Danny has to get a true C this off season.

Koufos is a solid roleplaying center on a good contract. Mclemore is a great reclamation project, would rather give spot minutes, practice time, developmental attention to him than RJ Hunter. If he is a bust, though, this would be where he proves it.

If the price is low, I'm in.

Please, god, no. Why are you saying this?

JaVale McGee was waived by the Mavs. I remember a couple years ago he would have been considered a decent pickup. His numbers were good for his minutes last year. I know he's been made a fool of so Shaq can get a cheap laugh to fit in with the rest of the TNT crew (because it's obvious Shaq brings nothing else to the table besides making every conversation about himself like Tyra Banks), but I wouldn't mind taking a flier on McGee.

Ainge did offer him a vet min 1+1 last season, but he didn't do anything in Dallas after turning that down

If we're going for a flyer on a player like that I'd prefer Sanders

Would hope DA is aiming a little higher than that though

I believe Speights was just signed today but I could be mistaken...anyway, I think it's clear we're done with Free Agency. Horford was plan A (and a good one) Durant was plan A2, and once all these mid market players got high dollars we shifted into neutral and kept Johnson and Jonas. Not bad looking back at this....we improved our team and kept our cap flexibility to target another big name again next year. Again, I think we're done signing guys...not to mention all these players we drafted...

Now Danny will look at trade opportunities as a few players should be available later in the summer as teams start balancing rosters.

Crabbe and Leonard are still out there, Terrence Jones, too.
