Houston Rockets Summer League 2016

Image

July 8 - 7:00 PM CST vs. Hawks
July 10 - 5:30 PM CST vs. Kings
July 11 - 5:00 PM CST vs. D-League Select

Check out Super-Beas working with the Rookies! I doubt that he actually plays. Probably there as a player/coach type type. No Zhou Qi.

Who are you looking forward to seeing on the court?

Please let Payton make the squad. I always have a favorite that doesn't make the team, guessing it's him

I know that we've been having children of 80s-90s NBA players in the League for a while now, but Gary Payton, Jr. just makes me feel old.

I'm thinking he wants to solidify a roster spot before training camp. I doubt that he plays in the games, but I think that he'll be very active with the practice & drills.

No disrespect taken. I may not have many grey hairs, but I've damn sure earned any that I have!

The Glove's kid is different for me just because of the caliber of player we are discussing. This was like me watching the Leftovers and realizing that one of the leads was Andie MacDowell's daughter!

Who are you most looking forward to watching in Summer Camp?

A lot of these players I know nothing about, but for the top of my list I've got to go with Dekker. Time to see what the team has with this guy.

KJ & Harrell are pretty known commodities, but I'm thinking that they'll see a lot of court time.

Glove, Jr. should be fun to watch.

And I want to see if there is anyone of interest among the big centers/power forwards.

I love the leadership on display from Beasley!
A lot of talk about Payton! He has had some really good passes so far.
Im excited for this summer session.

Dwight is in the build with the Hawks.

I'll be damned.

He really does shoot his free throws underhanded.

Hey - if it works, go for it!

Dekker is looking really good. Hopefully his shooting is real. It's a good sign that he's taking them without hesitation

Also not to hate on Dwight but I found this hilarious
NBA TV guy:"Dwight Atlanta isn't typically a team that posts up alot"
Dwight: "I don't think that's necessarily the case"

Pray for the Hawks smh he still doesn't get it

Beasley looks horrible against a bunch of young guys.

Also Wiltjer is bombing threes. Love his game

Easy now! It's been one half of a summer league game!

But I do like what I've seen from Wiltjer so far. This will be a shooter's team.
