So...Where Do YOU Stand On the Tank issue? **POLL**

After our recent moves :

Signing Wayne Ellington 2 years deal, second year team option
Derrick Williams, 1 year deal
James Johnson, 1 year deal

Do you think we're tanking? do you want us to tank?

What's more important for you this year : sustaining a winning culture or getting a high draft pick?

I'm never for a purposeful tank, that's losing mentality. I hope we "overachieve" by league standards but I realize the reality of this roster. If they suck enough to get a top pick then I'm with it. A pick even in the 12 range could be goode

Winning is always more important to me. I just dont have it in me to actively root for my team to lose, which is what pro-tankers are doing lets not sugarcoat it.

The moves made so far are to maximize flexibility for next summer. They're putting together a rag-tag scrappy bunch that is going to surprise people.

I'm okay with either tanking or winning. But I think this team is more likely to make the playoffs than it is to get a top-five draft pick.

I'm torn. I mean I know we need to get talent, it just won't line up age wise with what we have at the moment.

Gerald Green would make an excellent tank commander.

Also hard to cap-off a Lotto team with max and near-max players, have to cut losses somewhere and lotto teams can linger for awhile

If we lose games after tough fight - so be it, but i'm against tanking on purpose...
I belive if we keep TJ, our young core will be pretty good on the defensive side, and if somehow we will be able to generate some offense we could win more games than some of you think ( or i'm just deluding myself... )

We'll make the Playoffs if Bosh is healthy. We'll trade Dragic and tank if he isn't. That's the way I see it for now.

This.

We inflate his stats to show Wade was holding him back, then sell high.

I just can't see Bosh playing, so I'm expecting the tank. Riley does one of the best "desperation to contend" tanks, where he signs washed up players to make it look like we're trying, but we're never going to fit well enough to make the PO.

I think it will still be a challenge to get into the postseason, RexBoyWonder, but I'm happy that we got TJ & Willie Reed back. It's never good to lose assets you create. If we had Reed when we played Toronto, the outcome may have been different.

Now we have to sign Christian Wood somehow.

I know you typed this yesterday before all the signings today, but it's even comical then. Have you seen the team today? lol...a team full of journey men and d-league players. I'll be surprised if we win 20 games. I don't mind though. Watching the HEAT grow and get better is where the fun is. From what I've heard (mind you, I don't follow college), this draft is supposed to be incredibly deep. Hopefully we can get the number 1 pick.

Of course we're tanking, the half court play is non existent and we have no closer.

I said 30 wins and I stick by that...and that's the optimistic count

If Bosh is healthy, I'm more in the just try to win as many games.
But if Bosh is not healthy, I just don't think we have enough. Even if we don't want to tank, our team will not make the playoffs.

I want them to be competitive, even if they lose many games.

And then hopefully we catch a lucky break in the lottery, and we get a top pick.
