If Bosh is back we could be the 2 seed (yes people will want to kill me for that but I truly believe that). The only thing we'd really be lacking is depth/bench scoring.

That said in the playoffs when the game slows down we'd definitely miss Wade. Goran is our most capable guy against a strangling defense if we need one person to create a shot, and that's not a good thing.

I don't understand Riley. Giving Wade 3rd year 20M is not okay, but giving TJ 3rd year 18M and 4th year 19M is okay?

And if you want to match TJ, why sign a lot of replacements?

10 year age difference between the two. Wade is going to be with his foot out the door at age 38 while TJ will at very least be a productive rotation player.

I think with Dragic we are too good to tank. Dragic is going to be better this year because he will be able to play his style and run the team. If Riley really wants to tank then he needs to sabotage Dragic's play time.

No you're right. Wade isn't a big loss, Wayne Ellington and TJ can definitely equal the production. Also of course with Wade gone now the superstar Dragic who Wade was just holding back is going to lead us to the promised land by playing super fast (and no team is going to be able to stop this ever btw). Even though he had a far better team than this in Phx and had a crappy season there.

But you're right, its that I'm invested in this team not being successful without Wade. Not that you can't come to grips with the fact that we lost a lot by letting him leave.

With TJ back and Willie Reed signing, I think we can have a 39-43 season. Ok, we will get our no.13 pick in 2017 draft. Dunno if it's good enough even in this loaded draft.

I think both TJ and Richardson will outperform Dragic by THIS season

Yeah, I said it. Overrated as ****. Dragic is not a good shooter, plays in one speed , overuses his left hand too often to be a real scoring threat. He is only good in transition and sucks against set defenses. Expect him to be a no show in 4th quarters, which benefits to the tanking.
