So the Blazers matched Crabbe to the tune of 75 million bucks. We should definitely offer Harkless an offer sheet now. There's a chance you could snipe him out from under them.

Yep, and I'd consider Sullnger too.

I actually like the idea of giving Sullinger a reasonable contract. He's a good player if he can keep his weight under control.

I'd put contract penalties about his weight in, though.

Don't like the idea of adding any long term salary on a marginal player this off season.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yeah, he goes against the "hard worker/gym rat" model, but I'd be good throwing him a bone if he doesn't have much else out there, which he may not. I really really really want Presti to go for Harkless now though. They could really use either a 3 or 4, and the cap space is there. Kinda thinking Dion gets paid by the Nets.

I would rather have Moe Harkless than Dion. Some people insisted that Dion would get 12-15 million before this process started. I'm not saying I'd pay that much for Harkless, but might be able to get a bargain here. Lot rather see him getting minutes than Kyle Singler.

We're already so deep in the front court. Sullinger would just be extra weight lol

I'd put good money on Mitch getting moved. Not for on-the-court stuff, but cause he can't seem to keep himself away from that good kush.

So we'd have Stevie (defensive stud with growing offensive game), Ilya (shooter with everything else at or slightly below replacement level), Enes (only offense...defense still a massive work in progress), Sabonis (untested in NBA), Collison (pretty much a cheerleader). That's 5 true bigs, only one of whom we can say is a plus defender at this point in his career. Sabonis may be, but we don't know. If nothing else, we need to balance out defense/offense.

I'd definitely take a flier on him. Have been saying we should get him for 2 seasons, since Justin and d21 pointed him out to me.

I thought he had an outside chance to be a really nice player after seeing him when Orlando came to OKC his rookie year. He never quite reached what I'd envisioned back then but he'd still be worthwhile with our current roster. Only downside I can see is he's not much of a shooter.

Mavs fans here. Are you interested in Waiters-Matthews trade?

Yup, Matthews would be an upgrade on Dion.

Westbrook
Oladipo
Matthews
Kanter
Adams

If we're lucky, we might snatch 4th place.

Why would the Mavs do that? To unload his contract?

The Mavs are loaded with shooters without effective playmaker. DWill and Barea are the only two that can create something. However, they are not as explosive as they are. And the Mavs is looking to get younger as well.

I am not sure if he can play that role, though. How's his PG skills?

They are kinda meh. He has the ability to get into the paint, but he's not a good finisher and not that willing to pass although he has become better at that.

These are his driving stats per stats.nba.com:

RS: 379 drives / 42.7 FG% / 134 passes / 32 assists
PS: 107 drives / 41.3 FG% / 40 passes / 13 assists
