Teague Q/A with Basketball insiders

Post#1 » by Grang33r » Mon Jul 11, 2016 3:31 pm

Some good stuff by Alex Kennedy with the newest Indiana Pacer Jeff Teague. Check it out-

The Indiana Pacers have been extremely busy this offseason, adding veterans like Jeff Teague, Thaddeus Young and Al Jefferson to a core that already includes Paul George, Monta Ellis, Myles Turner and C.J. Miles among others. Team president Larry Bird also replaced long-time head coach Frank Vogel with Nate McMillan and stressed that he wants Indiana to play at a faster pace next season

He has a press conference set to stream online at 1:00 today (7/11) on pacers.com. I'm sure a tape will be posted on the website after the presser completes.

Some good quotes there by Teague from the presser

Jeff Teague on Indianapolis: “This is the best basketball city."

I had no idea Teague had great defensive stats like those.

Shows again, a bit undersized and you are quickly labeled as a below average defender.

Teague is going to be a great addition for the Pacers but I hope not too great next year, cuz I would like to re-sign him :D
