A case could be made that 03-04 KG was better than Duncan ever was.

If we're talking careers though its no contest.

It was close, but I would not take prime KG over prime Timmy. While KG was perhaps a more versatile and statistically prolific offensive threat, I will forever maintain that Duncan had the larger offensive impact. He was a legit post-threat that opposing defenses were forced to react too and that opened up everything else for the Spurs. He was also the better post-defender.

Tim Duncan retiring brings a tear to my eye.

Without question THE role model I'd want for superstars on my team.

We're blessed to have since such a professional play the game.

And for those that think he's got no personality you haven't been paying attention: over the last 5 years more and more stories have talked about what he's really like when the lights aren't on him - he's a funny guy

Allegedly the Pelicans are waiving Toney Douglas (not exactly earth shattering), I think the Pistons should put a claim on him. He makes about $1.4 mil which is only $400,000 more then Lorenzo Brown. Hes a decent 3 pt shooter and a good emergency Pg.

I do realize some really horrible team will probably claim him unless hes being waived because of a bad injury. Then, no I don't think the pIstons should claim him.

I'd take Douglas over Lorenzo and Blake for sure.

Those Jimmer Fredette Highlights from Summer League look alright. Can't see how he's not at least a backup in this league. I'd take him for our 3rd PG. I know his defense sucks, but his offense looks like it's still improving.. 3rd PG??? I'd take him.

NBA approved a hack-a-shaq rule change today...Looks like its basically the same thing but extended to the last two minutes of each quarter vs just the 4th quarter. IMO, This doesn't really help much.

Eh, it helps a little. Another six minutes a game that Andre can't be ridden like a horse by Dellavedova.

I'm sure SVG will manage Andre's minutes accordingly and have him out there to end every quarter.

I'll take him over Seth Curry, that's for damn sure. So sick of hearing about the other Curry on the Hornets board.

Seems to be some rumblings about Westbrook going to Boston. Which would suck. I wonder what they would have to give up for him? I'm guessing it would start with IT/Smart, Brown. Brooklyn's pick in 2018, etc.

I hope they trade for Westbrook and then he bolts.

I think he would too. Everything has pointed to Westbrook wanting to play in Los Angeles or maybe New York. My darkhorse is Miami.

From last night:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/753458151211491332[/tweet]

Which would pretty much complete their roster. Not sure if Jones would start or not but they needed another power forward if Davis was going to play some center. He fits there pretty well too.

Holiday / Frazier
Hield / Moore / Galloway
Hill / Evans / Pondexter
Jones / Cunningham / Diallo
Davis / Asik / Ajinca

I like what they've done. Turned over 7 of the 15 roster spots and there's a lot of versatility on the team. It's not a great one and they're probably not a threat to make the playoffs but they finally seem to be going in the right direction. Too bad it's come as/after Davis signed his new contract.

Seems it wasant so cozy over there in okc land.Makes you rethink that Jackson situation,if Durant did what he did to Westbrook (his friend) imagine what it was like for Reggie.I guess that epic game against okc is going to be a little disappointing lol.
