Jordan Hill signs with Minnesota

Post#1 » by Grang33r » Thu Jul 14, 2016 5:27 am

I know by now this is old news, but still figured i'd post it incase there was any discussion needed on his departure?

Ive never been a fan of his tbh, but i did think he played well for us at times last season. I think he would of been more valuable to the team then Lavoy Allen. His offensive game is much more superior. Allen of course has him beat on defense. Hill will only make half a million more then Allen.

Free-agent center Jordan Hill has agreed to a two-year, $8 million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, league sources told The Vertical.

Hill joins a frontcourt rotation that includes Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Pekovic, Gorgui Dieng, Cole Aldrich and Kevin Garnett.

The signing of Hill will move the Timberwolves to 15 guaranteed contracts.

To me, he played good in some games. But generally, I was a bit disappointed, and felt he underperformed. Not totally blaming him though. We had Mahinmi playing for a contract, PG playing the 4, and a jackpot rookie big man in Myles Turner. I was even disappointed that Lavoy wasn't getting much minutes.

Anyways, absolutely not surprised that the Pacers did not brought him back.

I'm not surprised either but I thought Vogel should have used him against Raptors.

Ya, another reason Vogel got the sack. The Pacers needed more offense, but Vogel kept playing his defensive players like Allen.

A bit dissapointed it will swing now to the other way though. Brooks, Ellis, Miles, Young, Jefferson ...cringe...

Even defensive wizard Burke can't get that lineup to play average defense.
