You get a young PG for very cheap and an expiring contract of tyreke. This frees up a ton of money for all the 2017 free agents.

Go to sleep.

No. That doesn't interest me. If I am trading Dragic I want a lottery pick in the 2017 draft. Also, MCW would be a bench player behind Richardson, Weber, and TJ. Why do we want him?

To free up salary for the free agents next year aka. Blake, CP3 and many others. Also to tank with a stacked draft next year. You guys don't need dragic.

The Trash I am offering is a young PG on a rookie contract easily trade able and a 10 mil expiring contract. If you are looking for a draft pick you wont get inside the top 20 for old man dragic.

This is rather comedic coming from someone trying to pawn off Michael Carter-Williams, and expecting to get a positive asset.

Dragic's not that old!!! He has a good 4-year run in him as a top 12 pg in the league in a right system.
He is also easily trade-able.

Bottom line is Heat don't need to make a desperate move right now.

Totally disagree. It's true that our style made the Hassan/Bosh pairing even worse, but it's mainly a skillset issue.

Bosh is not a good passer. He's really not. He's also not fast these days. He can shoot the 3's, but he's not a volume shooter and need time and space to gather. He's best suited to be a C at his age, he's not as quick and agile as he once were.

In todays game you can't have 2 lumbering 7 footers in your starting 5, it won't look pretty.
The only positive I can think of is that if we can have great 3 point shooting around them (which might be easier with Wade gone and Dragon/Justise hopefully improving and Rich TJ getting more minutes ) - it will create more much needed space for them in the mid post and paint.

Still, the ideal fit for Hassan is a true quick catch and shot stretch 4 that can move and pass, and for Bosh it's a true quick defensive hustler PF that can move and pass.

I'ts not hopeless, but it wasn't a natural fit so adjustments will need to happen and Spo will have his work cut out for him finding a way to make these 2 work together in a system that should be high pace.

If Bosh is back, the answer to this question will be the biggest factor of our season IMO.

Ok lets just look at the numbers, For the past two years Bosh has shot 37% from 3-point range while taking while taking 3-4 attempts a game for comparison Deng was a 31% shooter before last year where he shot 35% while shooting 3.5 a game. So Bosh is a better shooter than Deng especially when you realize all most all of Deng shots came from the corner while Bosh shot from the top of the key. Both Bosh and Deng typically have around 2-3 assists per game so that is a wash between them. Also look back at the game between the Heat and Denver last year with Wade out and Udrih at the point. Both Bosh and Whiteside flourished, Bosh had 24 pts 3 ast and 1-2 3-pointers , Whiteside had a triple double 19 pts , 17 rbs and 11 blocks. Then look at the game between the Heat and Trail Blazers as well from last year on Dec 20th once again both had great games and Bosh stayed on the out side and went 3-7 from out side. Also 1/1 when Wade was out Whiteside had one of his best game of the year and Bosh also great game while hitting 3-7 from out side. I could keep going but in games where Wade was out and Bosh and Whiteside played together they did well. There where also games when Wade was there that they played well together but they need space to work!

Add to that the fact that the Bosh-led unit with TJ, Richardson, & Winslow was dynamite.

Good luck with that. You're apparently a new fan. Why don't you try this proposal at the T&T board so *everyone* can see how smart you are? Or are you just trolling?

If the Sixers were willing to pay Manu 2 years 30M, What would they give for Dragic? Hmmm...

MCW and his value as a trade asset went the way of Thelma and Louise.

If we can't get a lottery pick for Dragic, then we keep Dragic. He's not some disposable player.

I could name 25-30 PG's in the NBA more valuable than MCW

He'll be 32 next summer (when we would presumably get him) and is one of the shortest players in the league.

He's good, don't get me wrong, but his Clippers tenure has sort of proven that him as an alpha dog doesn't really get you anywhere.

Now, as a 3rd option? Maybe. But do we really want to invest a 4 year max deal for someone with 10+ years in the league to a 3rd option?

i don't think you watch much of Chris Paul at all. you'll soon realize his value next offseason when he is an FA & every team will be clamoring to sign him.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
