Based on their statement, the league clearly don't want to eradicate hacking entirely, because that would be easy, and they would have done it by now. What they want is to find a happy medium. Personally I would just extend the new rules to the last 4 minutes of every quarter. Its still great news because it directly benefits DJ and Drummond etc. And if they've shown the willingness to change it once, they'll change it again if things don't improve.
