How absurd is it that saying all lives matter is now a racist statement. Never mind that BLM dismisses the rampant police brutality against whites and latinos and every other race of victim. Being inclusive is now racist. What a world.

Anyway... it'll be interesting to see if Colabello has completely fallen apart. Not that we really need him now, anyway.

The problem with his message is that he didn't have the balls to do it to his own anthem and I don't think he would have had he the chance. That is what pisses me off. Social statements can be made at the end, don't disrespect something that doesn't belong to you.

You not understanding something doesn't make it absurd. BLM also doesn't dismiss police brutality against other people either. All Lives Matter isn't inclusive. It's used to shut black people up.

Pretty rare that you trade an 18 year old pitcher, and your return is more risky than the asset given up.

From everything I've read, yes.

But in the short run the Sox could trot out 4' quality starters and significantly Improve their pitching in the 2nd half. I still view them as a much bigger threat that the Orioles.

Hard to say. Espinoza is a long way off, so who knows whether he'll be as good as advertised. But Pomeranz doesn't exactly have a long track record of success...he has been injured frequently, has wobbly control and difficult to maintain peripherals, couldn't hold on to a starting role prior to thids season, and is only half a year removed from getting traded for a pile of nothing.

If he's for real, they have a guy with three years of team control and excellent numbers. If not, they bought at the very peak of his value.

Going from Petco Park in the NL West to Fenway in the AL East, sounds pretty tough for a pitcher, as well -- especially a lefty.

I believe the Tenors are a Canadian group singing the Canadian anthem.

Preller has done a really nice job now that management has stopped pushing the going for it mentality.

"Astros to sign Cuban free-agent, and potential star, Yulieski Gurriel" to 5 year 47.5 mil deal. He's 32. He'll play 3rd. What happens to Alex Bregman now? http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/report-astros-to-sign-cuban-free-agent-and-potential-star-yulieski-gurriel/

LOL at Shelby Miller being sent to the minors after the package the Diamondbacks gave up for him. Dave Stewart should be fired for that trade alone.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
