I'm fairly confident about our squad. We are nowhere near a great or maybe even good team but we have the personnel to do surprising things this season.

Yes, 8th seed

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?
Bosh - 18 PPG*
Dragic - 17 PPG
Whiteside - 15 PPG
Richardson - 15 PPG
(if Bosh doesn't play) Winslow - 12 PPG

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new at Miami)?
This is difficult.
Let's hope and pray its McGruder

5) Who will be our best overall young player (not including Whiteside)?
Josh Richardson

From an overall standpoint, Justice Winslow

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?
TJ but that's only because of his contract and not ability

Good question. It depends how well we do this year but I pray McBob is traded for a nickel

Positive: The Youth Movement will be real and successful
Negative: None of the FAs we picked up will pan out this year/Bosh suffers yet another blood clot

Failure: Bosh's clots causing a huge rift between players and management within the season and we severely underachieved.

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?
Coach Spo and his ability to implement the new up-tempo offense that truly caters Dragic and the Youth movement.

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?
1st round exit of course but at least make it a fight and not get swept by Cleveland.

Success = deep playoff run, high lotto pick or acquiring a whale to build around.

Health. Might have to fake injuries to sit players so we don't mess up our lotto chances. See 2008

We won 48 games in the 2015-2016 season.

Maybe sneak in the 8th seed, very doubtful but I'm being blindly optimistic about all my answers :lol:

Assuming Bosh doesn't play : 1. Dragic 22PPG, 2. Hassan 18 PPG, 3. Winslow 16.5 PPG, 4. TJ 15 PPG

Toss up really, all our acquisitions are in contract years and I fear will try and do too much. I'll go with Reed, since he'll have the most opportunity with him being our only backup 5.

5) Who will be our best overall young player (not including Whiteside)?

Winslow, He's been talking that talk recently and I think he'll back it up this year. I'm almost %100 positive that he'll lead our team in minutes so he'll have the chances.

He'll have tough competition with TJ and Jrich since they're dogs too. What a good problem to have!

Winslow, because it's hard for his offense to go anywhere but up

Tough one, not many expectations going into the season TBH. I suppose anyone thinking Ellington/Williams/Reed/Babbit will be anything more than mediocre will be disappointed. The only that could get me down this season is a season ending injury to any one of out young core, since that's the main reason I'm watching this season. That or Spo somehow becomes more stubborn with his coaching.

After the Waiters addition I'm changing my prediction from 29 wins to 26 Wins. I'm dead serious.

I think he alone, if given minutes over TJ/Rich - would cost us at least 3 games in a 82 games season. Also think this move shows we're not trying our best to win now - simply because He's not a winning player now (and will probably never become one).

So I'm downgrading from 29 to 26 wins. Which is fine because our draft pick should be good.

Depends on how you define success. Success is showcasing Dragic/Bosh, developing the young guys, trading McRoberts, and netting a great pick.

4.(best newbie) Waiters will at 1st appear to be the run-a-way favorite to be best newbie much like how G.Green appeared to be early last yr. But by the end of the year I see D.Williams emerging to play some small ball center for us and upping his paygrade big time. P.S. Shooter McGruder will grab an opportunity late in the season.

5.(best youngSTAR) Just like I predicted last yr, I'm sticking with JRich. He took his game up another level in summerleague, and Justise looked the same.

6.(biggest improvement) Hassan will be an allstar if Bosh is out. If not the biggest jump will be JRich going from about 6ppg to 14ppg.

7.(biggest disappointment) Justise's offense... especially if everyone doesn't simmer down those lofty "wouldn't trade him for anyone" expectations.

8.(trades) Dragic, McBob, Waiters for Rudy Gay, pieces, and a protected 1st

9.(biggest suprise) Haslem starting at least 15 games and our transformation into a very good 3pt ahooting team.
