More of these rumors are giving headaches. But i'd take headaches over nothing.

I asked him about all the rumors floating around Vegas about Danny looking to make a big trade i.e. Griffin, Westbrook, Cousins, etc. First of all, his reaction was great. He basically said that he believes it isn't if, but when & for who. He told me that with Danny's assets he 100% can make a major deal if he really wants to. But that it takes a special circumstance to acquire a superstar.
So I will just come out and say it. He told me that Danny & Sam are discussing a Westbrook deal. He thinks Westbrook is the more attainable superstar over both Griffin, Cousins, Butler and even Love because OKC is not confident at all that Westbrook resigns. Pair that with the fact that the longer Sam waits, the more Westbrooks value goes down.
My guy told me that what Danny is offering is borderline laughable and BK picks are off the table without a commitment from Westbrook.
My contact also told me that he is not familiar with current Griffin to Boston talks but that it doesn't mean Doc & Danny aren't quietly discussing something. He joked that I should look into whether or not those 2 have played golf together lately.
Last note I can share. He thinks Westbrook is a goner this summer. Not necessarily to Boston, but that Boston is equipped to get a deal done tomorrow if Danny is willing to include a couple specific chips that Presti wants.
