Denver appears to have become quite savvy with the euro scouting.

Troy Wiliams can drive u nuts, but he has some really good moments.

How did your favorite Sun Dragic do it? Or have you already forgotten how timid he was entering the league at 22?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I think the league is going to shift more that way as the BBIQ and skill level coming out of the 1-and-done college system is hurting teams. Drafting strictly for talent and athleticism is starting to become a dangerous game.

Yeah, IDK. I hope age and experience are the main culprits, and he grows out of that after his rookie year. When he's 'shown' confidence, he's looked really good, but I wonder if he has a 'long' memory...meaning, he makes a mistake, and he can't just put it behind him than just press. IDK, but I see the same thing you are seeing. Hopefully Booker, having been there, done that, will be able to 'mentor' him through it.

No risk it no biscuit, most execs aren't gunna play it safe when they have to move the needle. Denver has made a killing unearthing diamonds in the rough in the late first/second round, none of these guys were as touted as Bender/Porzingis

Graduate from high school ... start a new job ... expected to perform as good or better than other workers with 3-5 years under their belt. Makes sense to me.

Love that Ulis always makes good decisions with the ball. Bender not going hard after rebounds nor challenging Denver's penetrations... must be cause of the ankle right?

I remember reading up on T. Williams as we approached the draft. Fairly highly recruited out of HS. If we don't sign him, I think h might've shown enough in SL to possibly get on a squad somewhere. Hopefully, at a minimum, he's headed to Prescott and the NA Suns.

59%/55% TS%/eFG% his junior year at Indiana. Shot 35% from 3, 9-11 TRBs per 40 his soph/jun seasons, provides some Stls/Blks, as well. He obviously has energy and confidence. I like him and hope, again, we can find a spot for him.

Maybe a little but mostly it's just something he'll need to work on.

Hope so, but he might be being told to take these opportunities to get used to the NBA 3 length.

I'm really surprised we're in this game late. Without Booker I just figured Denver was too much for us.

Bender with a nice sequence...trey and two blocks.

Otherwise has looked timid, but was playing some nice defense in the second half before his ankle issue

Seems like he'll jack up any three ball available to him. He has a nice stroke, just needs more accuracy/consistency.

Bender showing a lot of flashes of his talent with a lot of floating in between. To be expected though from an 18 yr old. Shows his range, IQ/playmaking in the half court and transition, and blocks/shot contests in the paint, especially down the stretch in this game.

Still think he settles for too many 3's and could stand to battle for contested rebounds a bit more. Defers a lot offensively. probably finding his comfort zone.
