Man the Bosh situation is gonna be so ugly. Especially with Henry Thomas as his agent, I anticipate Windbag to be the first to break some negative **** about it. I don't anticipate the players association being on our side for long with Wade's inner circle being the major union influence. Wade apparently wanted CB to come back during the playoffs.

This is just my personal speculation, but I'm not sure if this Bosh situation is something the PA really wants to get involved with either. They didn't really do much for him at the end of last season when he was trying to come back. They don't want to see Bosh risk his life (and deal with the possible consequences) as much as Miami doesn't.

Plus, pretty much the entire public opinion (media, Heat fans, non-Heat fans) wants Bosh to err on the side of caution when it comes to this situation. No one wants to see him risk his life, so it looks like most people will understand Miami's cautious approach to letting him come back.

I think all it takes is some leaks from an agent to start a narrative. I think what I learned about the Wade saga is that if you have a healthy relationship none of this stuff really leaks to the media. Once it goes public, it gets ugly and theres two sides to the truth in the public eye. I think the Bosh situation is pretty much headed there. There will be a "report" like how other doctors are willing to clear him since it's been at least 6 months and that the team is only doing this for cap reasons etc. Then the **** will ensue that could allow the Union to be in a position to get involved. It seems like last year's 1 year deal with Wade was really just tabling the issues till this offseason and I think the Bosh situation in the playoffs is pretty much that. Tabling the conflict till it's the new season.

Then Windhorst will report that 3-5 other teams are willing to clear Bosh and they think he's ready to play. Another "report" on how the Heat don't want his cap hold at all and thats the only reason they won't clear him (other than like you said, no team should take a chance of a player potentially dying on the court) Stuff like this will probably happen and make it ugly as hell via Henry Thomas

The players union won't take sides. As they said last year when Bosh tried to get them involved talking about signing a waiver saying he'd be the only one liable in the case that something went wrong, they stated as did the Heat that Bosh's health was what was most important.

I think this will get ugly in the sense that this won't be handled in a 'Heat' manner. Bosh is going to use the media and the fanbase to kick up a **** storm just like he did in the playoffs when he knew the fans wanted him back if it meant furthering our playoff run. It didn't work then though and who knows if it'll work now. He'll probably still try though.

In the end I think the Heat will win. Even the doctor's the CB finds won't be able to 100% guarantee that he'll be ok because for all intents and purposes a 2nd incident of blood clots means blood thinners for life for any normal person. So to argue that not only will he be ok without blood thinners but that he's fit to play a contact sport anywhere from 80-100 games per year while constantly flying around the country is a tough argument to make.

A 3rd party doctor approved by the players association and the league will determine whether or not Bosh should be cleared to play and if he is cleared then he'll be back... but if he isn't cleared by 02/09/17 then he'll be removed from our salary cap. The money will still be guaranteed to him regardless though.

One way or another it should all be settled in about 7 months.

It really doesn't matter which doctor the players association approves.

If Bosh dies or falls down on the court IN A HEAT JERSEY.... that image will be spread across the world and the details won't matter, most people won't know who's to blame..... they will just see that a Miami Heat player died on the court and blame Riley.

The PA stepped back a bit because Bosh was still on thinners, and it was a short timeline to operate on.

This is definitely headed to a **** storm, because it's pretty clear what the FO is doing, and Bosh's health is only one consideration.

Of course Riley's going to be here for the rebuild...

• The man is a competitive, calculated, cold-blooded professional.

• He just achieved his "Stage One" after daring Wade to leave the past two summers.

• His "Stage Two" will be the freeing up of Bosh's contract on Feb 9, 2017 after team doctors deny him medical clearance.

And when the HEAT doctors said "No" to his medical clearance it was game, set, match. HEAT decides whether he plays. Not outside doctors, not the Player's Association, and not even Bosh himself.

Won't be pretty in terms of public relations, but I expect things to gradually get louder from both sides, the closer we get to training camp, as they begin to dig in on their positions.

Riley and Micky love Bosh, but after the last two seasons I can't see any way they believe he can stay healthy for a full season, and more importantly, trust he will ever be safe on the court.

Hate to backseat mod but is this allowed and acceptable? I haven't posted that much on realgm and am fairly new but I joined because I heard it's a good community. If this homophobic bigotry is allowed by mods than I guess it's not the type of community I need to be a part of. Real unfortunate.
