Both of them have looked solid in summer league and both are probably bound for Austin.

Yeah, congrats to both but I don't see either of them helping the big team at all anytime soon...

Arcidiacono is a liability defensively and cant get his own shot offensively.
Forbes is a streaky shooter. If you thought it was frustrating watching Danny Green, Forbes is more of the same but smaller and weaker defensively.

Totally agree with you there on both points.

I'm actually even lower on Arci. I think he is really poor offensively, even with the dribble and passing. Seems like he would really struggle against top level defenses.

Arcidiacono's deal is rumored to have $70k guaranteed. That's technically not a TC deal. And it was supposed to be for two year. I don't think he makes the team, but I do think the Spurs have/had hope in him as more than just a body. I'd assume Forbes got a similar deal. Some MSU blog said Forbes' deal is guaranteed and only one-year, and I just wouldn't be able to wrap my head around that if it were true. I like him and actually expect him to make the team, but I just don't think there's any way he gets a guaranteed year and not have two more non-guaranteed years tacked on.

Exactly. I mean I guess it could happen but it really doesn't sound like something we would do.

I think Forbes makes the team but, in reality, I believe the Spurs see both as a part of the future after this season when we start making more moves into this new post-big 3 era....I could see Forbes developing into a starting caliber guard playing along side Murray in a few yeas and Arch could develop into a backup PG down the road. I'm not saying either are stars but, both could be nice complementary pieces..

Arciadiacono is underrated he has seems tenacious play as Manu, and better that average defender, he just a little slow, big time winner
