Agree with this. Most of you guys are looking way too much into one Summer League performance or even all of it. Rotation minutes won't be decided based on it.

Look at this roster. Saying that RHJ and Kilpatrick won't see the floor is naive, if anything.

The real assessment comes in training camp and preseason in an controlled environment and nba talent in the mix.

RHJ showed some improvement ball handling and passing wise, not really much improvement as far as his scoring ability goes. Playing point forward was more of an experiment but he had too many TOs to still be trusted at that position. maybe over time, sure. Defensively the guy is a stud. Saying he needs to be in the d league is utterly silly. He will play and fill the stat sheets nightly. Honestly, what he put up stats wise (10ppg 6rpg 2apg 3stls) is probably going to mirror what we see from him this season, i expect him to be one of the league leaders in steals.

C-Mac is not playing in the d league, who the hell are we going to field at PF? Booker and Bennet? He will play, and we'll have to deal with the growing pains. It would be nice to have an actual starter at PF, but the GM dumped him for next to no value He wasn't great because his efficiency from the field was pretty bad but he did rebound pretty well and he showed some shot blocking ability. Its going to be a long road for this kid but he has the tools, he just needs to play with more fire.

Whitehead will probably get D League time because he's not going to play over Kilpatrick. Kilpatrick was off from 3 in the summer league but he was still lighting people up from the field. Kilpatrick will be fine as 6th man scorer. He really had no business playing, its clear that he's a legit NBA player and worthy of a roster spot in the league.

RHJ/Kil are a lock for rotation players. C-Mac will need to work his ass of between now and camp to fix some of the bad habits I saw out there. Going up soft in the lane, low energy at times...inexcusable stuff.

None of these guys are promised anything they'll have to earn their minutes they'll be a lot of competition this team goes 15 deep.
