Tough break for Leicester, if Mahrez follows Kante out.

DiMarizio is reporting that Dortmund could complete the signings of Andre Schürrle (€32-€33 mil) and Mario Götze (€28 mil) in the coming days.

Would be a great bounce back from losing Mkhitaryan and Gündogan.

I love what Dortmund are doing this summer, I originally thought they would sell all their best players and just be happy with EL.

Schurrle is an average player imo.
32M is far too much.

...he was a great talent but decided to leave Mainz way too early. Those years in Leverkusen weren't good for his development. Became a totally one dimensional player.

Maybe Tuchel can fix him but tbh I don't believe he will. The main reason is that Schürrle seems a terrible fit with Reus. Neither of them should play on the right wing.

No, Mourinho ruined him. He never gave him a fair chance at Chelsea. Sold him after 18 months even though Schürrle always delivered and scored in the big games.

I'm not excited at the thought of paying €33 mil for Schürrle, but Tuchel's made some magic happen so far in player development. I never dreamed that Mkhitaryan would have the season he just had under Tuchel, so I'll have some hope that the same can be done for Schürrle and Götze.

Marseille's Georges-Kevin N'Koudou to Spurs for £10.5m.

Can't say I know much about this one. Looks like he favours the left side so it could mean the end for our friend Chadli.

Alen Halilovic is set to join Hamburg on a €5 million transfer, and a 4-year deal. Barca have a buyback option of €10 mil after the first year and €12.5 mil after the second.

I guess the Croatian prodigy hasn't lived up to expectations so far.

This is the kind of deal even a club like Mainz tries to avoid at all costs, though.

There's no upside. If he performs he is instantly gone after a season or two while not making financial profit. If he doesn't you paid 5 mil. for him.

Man Utd to make official bid of around 104m euros for Paul Pogba.

Why do people think Pogba will flop in England just because of a bad Euros tournament? PL is much more end-to-end without much control and it will suit him well I think. It's huge money, but it's only relevant to talk about if he doesnt perform. People said the same about Bale 3 years ago, but nobody talks about his fee today.

Pa, brate, lik ima 20 godina, daj mu malo vremena. I Modric je bio flop u Tottenhamu na pocetku i nije ni Rakitic bas brilijirao u Schalke. On(Halilovic) je jos uvijek VRLO mlad.

Don't think it's fair to say Modric was a flop at Spurs to start with, he was just playing for a dreadful coach and transitioning into a more physical game.

20 years old but he was talked about as the "Croatian Messi" at 17. He hasn't been that good since leaving Dinamo, and hasn't even played in a competitive match for the national team.

He's young, and there's time for him to bounce back like Modric and Rakitic, but the fact that Barca is selling him (albeit with a buy-back clause) seems to be pretty telling.

I totally disagree with you. First of all, for 5m, he can turn out to be a player Barcelona does not want to get back but a completely worthwhile signing for Hamburg.

Second, if Barca do sign him back, then Hamburg have been paid 5-7.5m to take him on loan for a season or two. How is that a loss?? You have to consider the possibility that Barcelona aren't willing to sell him outright.

He was also physically weak. Remember even Wenger called him "light-weight" in his first season.

Also it's important to remember was Modric was almost 23 when he came to Spurs. Halilovic is only 20 at the moment. Even Bale was rubbish as 20-year old. They almost loaned him out to Birmingham.

Croatian media always hype up their players.

It was a big mistake Cacic didnt select him for the Euros, but you have to remember it is Mamic who decides everything in Croatian football and he wanted to have Dinamo Zagreb players in the squad so that he could sell some of them for big money(which he has already done, it looks like Pjaca to Juventus is a done deal.)
