Re: 2016 Scavenger Hunt Draft (draft order set, -Ian- 1st)
Since it's my first time doing it I'm interested in seeing how the Closer category works.
A few really good guys in their prime years and then a good group of superstar guys that are right before or after their prime.
I'm sure some of those guys will get scooped in other categories, but kind of like the Shaq argument from earlier. Do you take a guy that's really good in semi deep category to keep that guys best year away from someone else.

This is the first year where you have to use the year the player is eligible for the category selected (in categories that are year/game specific). That will certainly change some strategies for the superstars that are available in those categories, but maybe not their peak year. Is it worth it to preserve the All-NBA category to fill in a spot later in the draft or to use it to get the best possible year for a superstar.

just to make sure everything is alright with this category - there actually are 85 players eligible. a typo, Fats? or was it intended to be "11 or more turnovers" because there are 35 players eligible for such a category.

I had originally planned to start things on Wednesday or Thursday, just to give everyone time to get their research done. But if you guys are ready, we can start ASAP.
We can start whenever Ian makes his first pick and then go from there. If anyone needs more time, let us know and we'll go slow or wait.

I at least have a good idea of my first pick, so I can finish my other categories as we draft.

Use this format when making a pick
Category - Player - Year
[then all the fluff you care to add, stats, rationale, photos, videos, gifs]

Crap, that's my mistake. It's supposed to be 11 turnovers, not 10. I originally had it set at 10, but it returned way too many results, so I changed it to 11. I forgot to change on main page.

NOTE!!!
Stone Hands - any player with 11 or more turnovers in a single game
(about 35 players eligible for this category)
Stone Hands is 11+ turnover, not 10.

I'm ready to go. I have all my categories done, just need to possibly rank within each category.
