Prove em wrong
Wrong. Okafor is always going to be what he is as a rookie. I don't see anyone else on that list who improved from their age 19 season.

Some direct quotes by Celtics fans. Funny how narratives change when fan influenced agendas get involved. Does Jahlil have flaws? Yes, but I guess every other young player is going to improve on theirs except ours. Ours are always giving the worst possible scenerios..because Philly. Jahlil is going to have a nice comeback sophomore season.

That's cherry picking at it's best.

Couldn't get any one of the following in trade for Okafor:
Towns
Porzingis
Jokic
Russell
Booker
Lyles
Turner
Mudiay
So in a re-draft, Okafor goes 9th... 7th tops.

We can only really go off of pictures regarding his fitness, usually this stuff isn't divulged.

jrob23 wrote:I gotta ask why people on here and elsewhere believe that PHI can't keep all the big men. Embid has to actually get on the floor and stay happy. Noel has to improve his offensive game. Simmons is just a rookie. Saric hasn't played in the states yet. Why can't you keep them all and have two very good lineups with little fall off? Also, who started the saying that Okafor isn't a good fit for Simmons? If anything, with his offensive game, good hands, and finishing, Okafor is a great fit. Simmons will find him and feed him the ball in a position to score. You guys should be salivating instead of wanting to deal guys. Embid and Saric can anchor the 2nd unit until acclimated and if they push the starters and overtake them then that's a great problem to have. All of them are blessed with the size, athleticism, and young enough to warrant high picks or players if you do decide to move one or the other. No, the decreased minutes and numbers will not suddenly lower their trade value. People aren't morons. They can see the makeup of the roster and deduce why numbers are down because of opportunity and playing time.
What's happening now imo is G.M. around the league are talking. PHI probably wants a high 2017 pick and teams don't want to give that up. So theres a stalemate. Once the season starts and everyone is playing and healthy, some big will get injured and will come calling. Maybe by then you'll have a better inidication of who these guys are and can be so you can deal the one you can live without.

It is not so much you cannot have that much young talent at the big positions as your list of yong talent at the guard spots is: McConnell, TLC, Stauskas.
That is not great.
