All or Nothing

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Wed Jun 29, 2016 1:26 am

Scrolling Amazon Prime on my Roku I was surprised to come across this:

For the first time in history, Amazon and NFL Films present an unprecedented inside look at the lives of players, coaches and owners of a franchise over the course of an entire NFL season. Witness the real life, behind the scenes journey on the field, off the field, and everything in between.

https://www.amazon.com/All-Nothing-Arizona-Cardinals-Official/dp/B01GF3WPU8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467163011&sr=8-1&keywords=all+or+nothing+arizona+cardinals

Here is one of the reviews:

Went to the series premiere show out in LA, and it was incredible. Very similar style to Hard Knocks, except its in the regular and post season rather than the pre-season so its much more exciting. You almost feel like a fly in the room and really see all aspects of the team unfiltered. Classic NFL films killing the production, must watch for really any sports fan.

the Cardinals get the nothing part down real good.
it should be called -not quite or nothing-

there hasnt been any -All- since 1947 in Chicago

I guess you could say the same about the Rams, having only won it in 99.

Lol I'm not that kind of fan. I'm not friends with teams I like and I don't take their winning and losing personal.
I'm joking about how stupid the show and title is. I don't care what team it is. You may as well make an all or nothing series for the nfl. That title is so cliche and unoriginal.

I watched it and thought it was great. The title makes sense when you watch it. It's basically like Hard Knocks but about 100x better.

There was a similar book that I guess you would have thought was really stupid too since they didn't win it all, but the book Seven Seconds or Less by Jack McCallum, following the 2005-6 Suns season when they got eliminated in the WCF.

Obviously I suppose they are more interesting if you are a fan of the team.

the Rams won in 99'..,the Cards not since 47'..its not the same thing and a hell of a lot more recent.

What smack talk? I'm talking indifferently about sports history and he's trying to make it personal smack talk. Just because threres a Rams icon near my name doesnt mean I care on a personal level.

he's nuts

Hey there, no need to get defensive and start calling people crazy. All will be ok. Perhaps the Rams will fare better in LA.

 BW is a good guy. A little misguided in his Cardinals fandom. But, still a good guy. The Rams are always a tough game. Should be another competitive division.

But yet you have a habit of telling other fans from other teams how they should feel about their own teams when you can't even get invested in your own. :violin:

The St. Loui :eyebrows: s Rams won in 1999. The Los Angeles Rams have not won an NFL championship in a very long time.

All Rams titles combined count, In the same way you find all past Dallas championships valid to talk about.

And they all count here in Dallas. We have always been here since 1960, have never left to go to another city and will always be here as America's Team.
