I don't know if that specific picture is real, but those spiders (huntsman) really do get that big.

Sad to see the Hornets punished over the SJW nonsense. Does New Orleans have a special law mandating people be allowed to use the bathroom of whatever their pretend gender is? I doubt it. The vast majority or places don't have such laws. And now because NC overturned Charlotte's attempt to create one, the NBA is coming down on them? That is some BS.

With the dismal state the country is in, the fact that this is THE issue certain people have chosen too latch onto is beyond pathetic...

This seems like the correct thread to admit that I have a phobia of having a snake bite me while sitting on a toilet.

Thanks to this article, you all can have that phobia too - http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-36394819

I think it is a very real possibility that MJ moves the team out of Charlotte if this law is not repealed in the next few years. Anyone who thinks that isn't a possibility needs to wake up and face reality.

Can't say I'm following the logic on that one.

I now live exactly .5 miles from SC. If they could only just move that border due to an long-standing dispute, that'd be great. I already work in SC, so one foot is already out the door.

SC roads blow though. All the country roads around me that head into SC, as soon as you cross the border then go from nicely paved, wide roads to these narrow pot-holed filled dirt tracks.

If he knows the NBA and Silver will keep punishing the franchise for being located in NC, why would he willingly keep the team here?

I hate losing the ASG, but I don't think MJ would have moved or sold the team if we had never gotten it so I don't see why he would now.

Its not just McCrory who has to go, its all the republicans that voted with him as well.

Here's the ones from Charlotte who voted for HB2

Plowright praised the decision and wants them to move the game to London.

Why do all of our media members insist on making me hate them?

All I can say is I know there are people close to the Hornets who believe it so. Whether that is just an guess or based off some kind of intelligence I do not know.

I think that moving the team would be less about the ASG and more about the long term prospects here in Charlotte NC. My personal opinion is that Charlotte is in for a long slow decline. I fully expect BoA to eventually move using HB2 as a pretext. What new business does come here will mostly go across the line into Fort Mill or Indian Land where possible. Charlotte may recover, but I expect the next 10-20 years to be unhappy ones. Not all of that will be due to HB2, but the law will have set certain things in motion and created a reputation that will greatly harm both Charlotte and the state going forward.

I was born in Charlotte. Have lived here most of my life. I will be moving. It's just a question of when at this point. The main thing holding me here now is family. That's it.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

The new construction in Fort Mill is never-ending.

Oh snap fat dropping insider knowledge? I didn't know you personally knew Hornets folks.

I'm highly skeptical that they'll get moved. The city is large enough to sustain a franchise and the fan base is growing. This isn't ATL where they are an afterthought - we've had better attendance than ATL 3 of the last 4 seasons.

And it's official, isn't it.

Too bad about the ASG.
