I don't think they'll be great, but a mid playoffs seed seem realistic. Prob a hard out in the playoffs. But obviously you got agendas.

So, want to make a bet with me then? I'll take under 47.5 wins and you take over? Loser has to go to work with JSimon for a day?

Sorry man but idk what JSimon is? lol if you explain, might be able to do a little friendly something here.

I think 47 is high too though. I'll do 45? You think that's too low for a bet, or are you thinking they're gonna be like 35-47?

Ha you don't want to know what JSimon supposedly does for work. My thoughts on this are, I said 47.5 was an outrageous win total for the Bulls, you called me out on it, but now don't want to bet the over on the win total that was set by Vegas - which is 47.5. So either get off my nuts and agree that this team is being overrated by Vegas or let's make a bet with 47.5 as the number!!

I wasn't talking about the playoffs. In the playoffs Wade will play big minutes and try and that's a different story. How about this:

Loser has to spend 15 minutes reading Slartibartfast's blog?

$20?

shari's berries?

Loser leaves realgm for 1 month?

Winner picks the loser's signature for 1 month?

Winner picks what the loser changes their username to?

I'm in if you are...

You know what GodMoney? I'm in. I actually agree with you. I don't think the Bulls go 48-34, but I'm too prideful to turn back. I do think they go 45-37 type though, so I feel comfortable needing some luck.

I say we do something with RealGM. Not really into the leaving for a month? Feel like it's not really shameful of loosing, & it'd prob make me more productive tbh.

Down with the change of the signature for 1 month. You in?

Who would you guys start? Kinda amazing that so many huge stars backed out & they still have this incredible team. No James, Paul, Curry, Harden, Davis, Griffin, Westbrook, Leonard, Lillard.

Another weird thing is 10 of the 12 ppl are in between ages 24-28. Usually you got 1-2 young guys & a couple old vets.

Irving - Lowry
Butler - Thompson - DeRozan
Durant - George
Anthony - Green - Barnes
Jordan - Cousins

I'd prob try to balance the 2 teams out. Start Jordan & Butler for defense. Same with Lowry & Green on the 2nd team. I really like this team personally. Not big fans of Kobe, Lebron, Love, Harden, Deron Williams from the 2012 team. Easier team to root for imo.

No Wall? That guy gets no love

I'd go crazy and start Irving, Butler, Durant, Anthony and Cousins pretty similar to what you said. May as well go guns blazing since there's literally no competition worth talking about

I wish the NBA would start up some of these grass roots projects they're always talking about in other countries. The sport would be amazing internationally if they could just encourage some growth. I think countries like England and France would be ripe full of talent if they could get some academies set up

Too racist. NO seems like a cool place for it's cool architecture and embracing "diversity".

I was half joking but yeah, exactly. The stupid law is a poilitcal move, sucks that the whole city (especially the Hornets/fans) had to be punished for it. Have to keep that pure clean wholesome image though.

I'm still happy they are moving it, but I agree that it sucks that the city is being punished for state law, and that people who didn't vote for the law are being punished in general. I'm just happy because the more stuff like this happens, the more likely they are to change those laws in NC.

And yeah, I doubt Silver actually cares about LGBTQ issues, it's a pure PR move from him, similar to the Sterling stuff.

This one issue won't, but the more the state is hurt financially, the better chance that it will.

Ok, the chances of this happening to NC again in the same light though are pretty slim. It's a stupid toilet law that was made with the intent to protect children from "sexual predators".

They are slim but only because no one really cares about NC outside of these issues. Only other major thing I could see happening is them not getting the Superbowl, and I don't think they are high up on that list even without the law.

The rest will be minor things like musicians choosing not to play there. That has such a minor finicial impact on the state that it matters little.

I hope the law is changed somehow.

I'll be curious if there are any lawsuits against the NBA with this All-Star Game being pulled from Charlotte. Apparently, the city made some large expenditures based on the promise of the All-Star Game. There's a concept in the law called "reliance" where, if you spend money based on someone else's promise, and then they back out of the agreement, you can sue them for any losses you incurred relying on their promise. I'd be really curious to see all the documents involved here. I'm sure there are lawyers all over it right now.

I agree about the rationale being against the law but, this screams FAKE and just a PR move. NBA has no issues working with China but, Charlotte (who passed a law to protect LGBT) isn't okay? Weak.

And hell yeah bring all star game back to its first home.

Also not to get too preachy, but Google can go **** themselves for writing a letter to get the all star game out but, still debuting Google fiber in NC. Scummy fake ass company.

I said as much in a subsequent post. As you said, the NBA still plays games in very homophobic areas. Its hypocritical.

I just don't really care because I find those laws so disgusting. The state/city deserves to lose that money imo. Sucks for the fans and people who didn't vote for that law though.

The law itself is silly because it's not really enforceable. A law that isn't practical isn't a law worth having.
