not just the game, but high level NBA players aren't going to want to play in a state where there are these types of laws (especially that have been so public and controversial). bad for the brand

No company boycotts in Raleigh are coming to mind. Like you mentioned, Google Fiber is still on it's way as far as I know. There were concerts cancelled.

Actually, the larger Triangle area got some boycotts. Mostly, on the western part area, where most of the growth is.
