Now both local and national media poke fun at the Heat culture, healtlifer, Heat family because of a Henry Thomas 2 year smear campaign. Sorry I can't root for the haters to rejoice at our demise via a year long tank job. If there's like 10 games left and its clear that we cannot make the playoffs, then you may build me a tank.

I think you just have to find a way to tune all that out. Everyone has an opinion. Idiots have opinions. Would you listen to an idiot telling you to jump off a cliff? Then don't listen to an idiot when he's laughing at you either.

As for the tank issue, that term is used pretty loosely, and is misconstrued into a bunch of different things. We didn't have a bevy of options laid out in front of us. We tried to score big and missed out on Durant, and happened to lose Wade in the process. Our options were pretty limited at that point. So, we signed a bunch of players on short deals to give us a chance next year at convincing a big talent to join next year. We're going to compete with those guys. Will they be good enough to win a 40 games or so? Who knows. Maybe they'll be terrible, but it won't be because we're trying to lose. We just won't be good enough.

The best thing that could happen to us in this era of high priced contracts, would be to get a star young talent and pay him on the cheap for a few years. So, if we stink it up this year, then I'm with you, sign me up for one of the top draftees.

#TeamFastTank

1 year. 1 really bad year but if we can draft a new franchise level player thats in the same age range as our young core, it'd be worth it. Some say this next draft is going to rival 2003 in depth and quality so if we can trade Dragic midseason, for younger depth and a 2017 1st, I'd do that too and send this fast tank into the stratosphere. We'd go from an old team to a young team with a bright future in 1 year. Just get on the damn tank. You know you want to. Open bar.

Do you think we're tanking? do you want us to tank?

What's more important for you this year : sustaining a winning culture or getting a high draft pick?

i want us to tank but i also want to watch competitive Miami Heat basketball. quite the dilemma :(

the reason why i want a tank is so we can make use of the first round draft pick that we have next year. if i remember correctly we dont have one the following year so we might as well get as much value of the one we do have while we can. we wont be contending anyway.

my heart says no but my head says yes

I think Winslow will thrive with a larger role offensively, and Richardson and TJ balance the floor more than Wade because they're better defensively and shoot a lot better. I think our spacing should be really good, and if Spo is half as good as everyone tells us he is, this team will be a lot better than people think. Wade also made Dragic a much worse player than he is, so I think him having the ball in his hands and a bunch of young guys who are willing to run, I think we'll be fun to watch and pretty good.

And if Bosh does play, then I would expect Bosh-Dragic pick and roll to finally be the thing we thought it would be last year.

Remember Amin said Goran Dragic is a top five point guard in the leaaaaague :P

Besides Dragic(and he's mediocre at it) we really dont have a playmaker. Wade's D may have regressed in the past years but he was still good at setting up players for spot-up shots because of his court vision. we lost that and i believe that will have a pretty decent effect on our offense. most of the guys you mentioned; Winslow, TJ, and Richardson are spot-up shooters. we're going to need another playmaker to make use of everything that they can bring on the offensive side
