Long way to go till it restarts but the trailer looks pretty good. Looks like it stays pretty true to the comic bringing in Ezekiel and the Kingdom along with Negan and his people. Still have to wait three months though to see whose blood that is dripping off of Lucille.

Usually the new season kicks off right as NYCC concludes. Bummer that they moved it a couple weeks after.

The TV business really creeped into that last season finale, but, I love this show still. Maybe because I binged watched the first 5 seasons last year then binged on season 6 a few months ago. I think the audience gets worn out being intense over a long period of time. Btw, I think it's Glenn that gets the bat. Would be the most tragic and impactful. And judging from a few of those shots, extremely gory and visceral. Some fans are going to hate it because it's going to be so **** up. Which is perfect.

Spoiler:
Glen getting the bat wouldn't be surprising to anyone who reads the comic. I agree with you though, I know some people think it was Daryl or Abraham (who's already dead at this point in the comic), but I'm still guessing it's Glen.

I only watched till the midseason finale of Season 6 and stopped because everyone told me how bad the rest of it was.

Do I have to suffer through it?

Still watching this one, not as hooked as before though. The cliffhanger ending is a damned annoyance, I much prefer discovering shows late and having multiple seasons to catch up on.

my buddy is a horror genre (film, tv shows, books, etc) for dread central, so he's been reading all of the comics. he says that if this show follows the comics (they generally do a good job), this new guy neegan is more of a central character than Rick, and is apparently more badass than psycho Rick

One of the most underrated series. It's on Netflix. It's a darkish/cynical humored animated comedy. The details and depths they put into the characters and the story itself are mind blowing.

I'm usually not into the "adult animation" genre but I am so glad I started watching Bojack. Season 3 dropped on Netflix on Friday. I recommend watching from the beginning. It makes you think about life lol.

Sorry for hijacking the Walking Dead thread. Just didnt want too many OTs in a row.

I'm not a fan of cliffhangers so I looked up who got the bat in the comics after season 6 ended. I know the show doesn't necessarily follow them exactly but I think in this case it would make sense if they did.

Either way hopefully it's a good season.

After GOT this is still my favorite show on tv

Spoiler:
i think they misstepped a little this year though. Glenn's death under the dumpster was so powerful that when he came back, albeit it was a relief, I think it took the win from the sails if he ends up falling to Lucile

I'm starting to think its Abraham now though.

Hey spent a lot of time trying to redeem him and humanize him and make him connected to a better actress
